Guys im really deciding if i should try staking with corrupt vesta long, im 55 cb 78 ranged 81 str 20 atk. Id be using jav spec and switching to long, will it work??

for the dumb dumbs that dont understand which staff to melee with on a low attack pure, get the slayer staff. its like if there was a scim between addy and rune, but requires no attack level. hits just as fast as a scim, while the other staves are slower.

so essentially the slayer staff is like a 35 att scim, but you can have with any att level, you just need 55 slayer and 50 mage.

If you're 1 Defense I wouldn't recommend using the Iron Defender. :P

None of the Defenders until Mithril are better than the Unholy Book. :S

(Although the Unholy Book costs 7m now... o_O So the Defender may actually be a better choice. :P)

I've said this multiple times: A pure with 20 Attack and Defence cannot possibly achieve Rune Gloves. If I were to get Rune Gloves, I would have to do the King Awowogei sub-quest. That would require Monkey Madness, therefore requiring The Grand Tree. The Grand Tree gives 18k Attack experience, boosting me to well above 20 Attack.

I did all of the subquests that a 1 Defence pure can do except for the King Awowogei (Monkey Madness) subquest. This is because Grand Tree is a requirement and gives 18K Attack experience.

So instead of doing that quest, I did the Freeing the Lumbridge Sage subquest. That requires Nature Spirit which gives 2K Defence experience. I did Nature Spirit before I got 20 Defence so I could get Addy Gloves.
