well when it comes to marriage.. most Muslim countries does not follow the true Islam way, i lived in Arab countries and other Muslim countries before i settle in North America. the Arab countries way of marriage is more of classes like more materialistic + race while other Muslim countries i have been its more race than money however both marriages family play a big role in it . in North america specially in Canada its more matching then money because both contribute.

The person you do nikah with IS and inshallah will always be your partner in all walks of life. I think the word fits perfectly.

I've been watching your videos. SubhanAllah what beautiful advice by a beautiful sister. I wish my wife had seen these videos before she left Islam. She might have been inspired. The main problem is that majority of sisters are not willing to help men be better where they are lacking and that goes for men as well. She was also really worried about marrying a stranger but they did have a few convos b4 dey got married which helped her. Alhamudillah she is very happy now! There is a special salah which helps u 2 make correct decisions which u can try, the salah is called istikhara. Anyways gudluck to u sis in finding ur partner!

If your saying that all Muslim women care more for worldly things and the Dunya than Akhirah; you are misguided and ill informed about your Deen. The Prophet SAWS used to pray to remain from the poor because you will be accounted for what you did with your wealth if it was spent righteously or wasted in extent on ones self pleasure. Countries are not pure rather the individuals who live in them are. As far as I'm concerned nationalism is a Trial, Muslims should be united under one nation.

Asian culture mentality dominates too much, thats the problem. Firstly, attraction is the initial attraction and is only natural and yet any talking between the sister and non-mahram is instantly considered haram so just talking to a sister for the first time at Uni is considered wrong- which makes things impractical. The belief that shaytan is the 3rd person whenever a man and woman are together in private does not mean sisters and brothers cannot talk 2 eachother- its only haram wen in private

In Islam, all muslims are brothers and sisters to each other, it is general, but when it comes to the "love relations", there is not use of those words...So, since she is not talking with the one who is in love with her, she can use the world, sister or brother.

Well sisters aren't allowed to speak alone with "candidates" (phone...) only in the presence of her Mahram (father, brothers...), so there could be no transgression of any kind, and of course her Maharim can advise her about that man.
The Prophet sAaws said : "a woman is to be married for 4 reasons:
-her wealth
-family
-beauty
-religion (level)"
Then he didn't let us choose but he guided us to the best criteria, he ordered:
"So cling the religious !"
as if she's a rare treasure.

Except the prophet said that If there is a man alone with a women, the third one is the shaitan (devil). So you wanna date, bring yer parents. Of course, this sounds a lot like an arrange marriage. I'm not liking this use by the Muslim community of the word 'partner'; its use in the UK generally applies to unmarried cohabiting male/female couples or single sex couples which are both haraam. Should we not be using the word 'spouse' which signifies a couple that is married and is the only acceptable status for Muslims? We shouldn't be aping the West's practice of trendy, PC words which aim to elevate the status of unlawful, illegitimate relationships. 'Spouse' is equally as unisex as partner

@MonkeymagicsMum I hear what you are saying. And Islam tells us not to imitate the kufr so i do understand you. However, we speak english - as do kufr - and "partner" is an english word. In Islam, your spouse IS your partner, the person you share your life with. Despite it's use amongst homosexual/unmarried couples, it's meaning does not become redundant. The person you do nikah with IS and inshallah will always be your partner in all walks of life. I think the word fits perfectly.

I've been watching your videos. SubhanAllah what beautiful advice by a beautiful sister. I wish my wife had seen these videos before she left Islam. She might have been inspired. Unfortunately, according to her, Muslim sisters she met were just totally unfriendly, cliquy, didn't pay attention to cleanliness (especially at the masjid) and sometimes quite rude whereas her non-Muslim family were clean, considerate and relaxed; joking around, etc.

The main problem is that majority of sisters are not willing to help men be better where they are lacking and that goes for men as well. Marriage is all about helping and assisting each other daily on areas of weakness from both. A bird cannot fly without 2 wings a marriage cannot flourish without both making contributions.

@Sablaaa Salaam sis, my sister recently got married and it was an arranged marriage. She was also really worried about marrying a stranger but they did have a few convos b4 dey got married which helped her. Alhamudillah she is very happy now! There is a special salah which helps u 2 make correct decisions which u can try, the salah is called istikhara. Anyways gudluck to u sis in finding ur partner!
