It hurts to watch Tommy Jones as I have the same hip/knee problems when I throw. It's really hard to stay down on the shot when your hip is screaming and the knee says "no way am I taking that load again!" It never seems to hurt bad enough to give up bowling though.

Before Tommy Jones bowled his 5th strike in a row he stopped once to regroup. I counted the seconds from when he picked up the ball until he released it. It was just over 50 seconds. The PBA shot clock rule is you have to throw the ball within 25 seconds of picking it up or else it's a $50 dollar fine. So did Tommy really just get fined $100 dollars right there? That's messed up if he did.

@ilovebowling11 Yeah. He has a bone spur in his left hip that's irritating a nerve. It causes a lot of pain for him when he throws a ball, including spare shots.

@s2dio Lots of sexual references he makes actually. Some of the nicknames of the bowlers are hilariously sexual in nature, "The Big Nasty," "The Big O," and so on. I'm almost sure that people who came up with certain terms in older games made them mildly sexual in nature because it made them giggle. For instance, craps is called craps because it was the dirtiest word they had when the game was named. If it was invented and named now, it would be called fucks.
