  • um learn how to um talk and um... FOR GOD SAKES STOP SAYING "UM"

  • I got another one few days ago (emerald) looks legit, sticker is foil, has CE on the left and circle nintendo stamp (uk ver) the circuit board is white, says nintendo on it at the bottom, thers a little c 2002 nintendo and a few numbers, also when i got it, it had 27hr play time an the startup msg isnt, "the game can be saved now" BUT it has a little thin circle you see in fake ones only on my vers it isnt a bulky circle and doesnt have yellow around the outside, it plays fine right now. fake?

  • All of them have the circle battery in the inside, it's suppose to be there, but yours looks a bit brighter.

  • You can tell the Ruby cartridge is fake because the sticker is supposed to look like a weird kind of fog (at least in my opinion it does) Im not sure if it's the same for Sapphire, I lost that one years ago so I don't really remember. That and if they were real then the pokemon company logo would be in the top right corner.

  • Some of this seems really off... I watched this while looking at my games and some things seemed legit as far as it being fake, but I bought them ALL at stores and they work perfectly fine...

  • if it seays ce on it its a european one as it means its safe to use by european standards but these are sometimes forged and are illegal to forge aswell

  • I have Ruby and Emerald. Ruby i bought off ebay and I think it is fake, looks the same as yours, though always plays well. You say that migrating the pokemon to DS causes the game to stuff up? I've never done that because i only have a DSi.

Pokemon Emerald I bought off a friend, and he said he bought it from EB Games a while back. Looks real, doesn't have the E, and the circle thing (battery) doesn't stick up above the label like my Ruby cartridge. Thanks for the advice on fake Pokemon games :)

  • My friend had all the pokemon in fake

  • I bought a fake leafgreen >.>

  • I remember buying a fake Emerald years ago

  • Then I guess my Sapphire is fake.

  • My Pokemon Emerald had similar traits to the fakes that make them fakes.

BUT; it had a holographic cover, and when I tested it it was capable of transferring.

So it is either a legit copy or a REALLY good fake.

    Hope it's legit.

  • u got screwed bitch

  • thanks for the tips man! i will certainly look for those fake signs on my next buy

  • if you ever have seen those games you can tell they are fake since the stickers aint realy correct and the game card themeselfs aint the good colour.

  • They all look fake

  • I bought a emerald version from amason and it was fake :( and it was like 2years ago so it's to late to contacts the seller

  • CE doesnt mean its fake. Thats how they look if they are legit from europe

  • How clever! I will try my hardest to ensure every game/system I own is NOT a bootleg!

  • I bought Pokemon Leaf Green version off ebay last year.

The game looks fake to me, my Fire Red (sticker less due to wear), Ruby and Emerald versions are all legit. There is a colouration and look to emerald, sapphire and ruby that is sparkly and fire red and leaf green are not sparkly (the cartridge).

I think my Leaf Green is fake, yet I can save and even trade with out any problems.

Perhaps it is just a different region, but to me it looks fake.

    What could the issue be?

  • @Xandia69 its nothing because all fakes wont trade and most wont save so its real it might just be from North America/Europe/Asia/Australia wherever your not from.

  • the e is skwishd

  • So this is why my emerald wouldn't save half of the time...FUCK!!

  • i think you're very retarded....none of mine are fake and they have an E and the seal and a little circle. dumbass

  • i got sold a fake game on ebey

  • Do the fakes work well? Save? Allow Pokemon trades?

  • @cecillbill they play okay but they will not let you save.

  • @Zeta416

Oh, that's a total rip. Glad you received a refund. It's essential for GBA Pokemon and any other GBA RPG games to be able to save, lol.

  • @Zeta416 i bought the same 5 from the same guy for 30 bucks. they play they save. yes they are fake, but i got them for free because i told the guy they were fake and he gave me a full refuind and said to keep the games

  • @Zeta416 a friend let me borrow his silver version for gameboy, and I tried to save, but when I turned it back on to play again, it didn't save, does that mean his silver version was a fake copy?

  • @Swordmaster1993 Hey man XD

  • @Swordmaster1993 not necessarily. Gold and Silver are known for having bad batteries in their cartridge. Those batteries are responsible for keeping the savefiles. You can fix it by replacing the battery. There are a lot of guides available for that :)

  • the backround on the lable is fake it lloks diffrent than my emrald

  • The E on the game dident mean its fake I have all of those and they got an E on it and there not fake ur stupidvu have to change the save battery u idiot

  • they all look a little weird with the sticker and the cartridge colors

  • they look real to me.

  • They don't look anywhere near legit, you must be really blind.

  • @MrLazyAmerica They are legit. I have all the Pokemon games [Including a Japanese Copy of Pokemon Green] and, the games in this video are legit.

  • @laaviilaamp by legit, i ment by made by nintendo, obviously, they're not. DURRR

  • @MrLazyAmerica O I NO RITE.

    THEEIR SO NOT LEJIT

    HURRR

  • This is why I use roms, they're free and legit.

  • the real leaf green and fire red have red and green spirals on the stickers

  • Real Pokemon games have shiny labels on them.

  • Well first of all Leaf Green version is colored wrong lol, it's light green.

  • I got my from a swap meet fake.

  • my emerld has a circle and its real

  • Its very easy to spot if its real or not.

  • ...this sucks, now I know whats wrong with my pokemon Emerald...

  • What's sad is that Gamestop has some of these fake games and they don't even notice they're fake when some of them are obvious to tell that they're fake. I could probably make over a hundred copies of these games for dirt cheap and make tons of money selling them at Gamestop.

  • Yep I've see the person you bough those games from selling this stuff on Ebay all the time. I've seen the person selling so many copies of the games. You always got to do a thorough check before buying.

  • games randomly delete all the time, dumbo

  • @Thaijakk Actually no they dont if treated normally. Don't call him dumb. I know what you are thinking about, in gameboy COLOR games, there is a save battery and obviously in original GB games as well. in GBA games, however, there is no save battery made like the ones in the old days. There is one i believe, but it's not one that runs out the same way, it is powered by the system.

  • The CE you are talking about only is on PAL (European games). NTSC (North American) Should have an E on it. If you notice though that E looks weird with an odd script and too small. In addition those are not good fakes. Fire Red and Leaf Green should be in opaque cases and not transparent ones, that should have been the first clue.

  • well fuck ... a month to get here from china, i knew something was off about the cartridge ... thanks I'll be contacting my seller

  • how to know if it's not fake: don't buy it on ebay.

  • the front sticker on my emerald in the bottom left has a gold circle around it and says something

but i cant read it cause its torn but in the circuit board there isnt a circle around the nintendo and mine is genuine.

  • I'M REALLY MAD ABOUT IT!!!!!

  • My save files on my game keep getting deleted so I think it's a fake

  • Not a fake version, just incorrect compatability. Both versions, Gen 4 and Gen 3 have to be same country of origin. EG: My USA ruby does not work with my AUS soul silver, same thing happened. Don't rag on the ebay sellers, they are selling legit stock. PS: Learn 2 not fucking shake the camera.

  • Now if all u faggs can SPOT some pussy

  • i have shiny gold and it has no sealed on it and when i restart it shows that this hack couldnt had been made without the help of some people.

  • You are an idiot, the "E" sign is on my real fire red, ruby, emerald, and sapphire there's no ring around Nintendo on the circuit board of it all model numbers on the cartridge's are "AGB-002" and it's like that on all my gba games. Even my old Gameboy colour and Gameboy ones had the "E" on it but, comparing the stickers on the cartridge's to mine they are all wrong and do not have the same design as them

  • I guess by now you realized the "round thing" was the battery backup right? Perhaps the fakes were a fake battery? I guess that's what you were getting at. The real carts have to have a batter in them or you surely will not be able to save your games.

  • haha i remember wen i bought ruby on ebay it was an US v sp it deleted the save file every time i went on so i bought a sepret gb 4 that

  • looks like you bought defected games

  • im looking at my Pokemon emerald right now and you can see the internal battery in side of it and this guy clearly says you can not. i bought my emerald from eb games and is clearly not a fake, this guy knows nothing about what hes talking about so just ignore it and move on.

  • i went to a fleamarket, bought firered, beat the game, got alot of pokemon and was going to transfer to diamond...and the game was a fake meaning i couldnt transfer my pokemonz D:

never buying from a fleamarket again, well at least games i mean

  • Never trust Ebay

  • In emerald the internal battery is visible. DERERER

  • Maybe your battery is dead? Replace it.

  • the E is supposed to be on there

  • I know I got scammed with a emerald and it say that it was deleted

  • He only mentioned "Internal Battery" once. ONCE. Every other time he says "round thingy."

  • i had one and it worked like a one i bought at the store the thing that gave it away was the E on it but t was working no complatints it was my emrald

  • do they work

  • the title is too big too

  • @Brappptings when it said your data was deleted it just means tge game in whole is corupt i had pokemon crystal years ago and that sane thing happened to me and also show some visual proff on the systuim if you want to be convinsing

  • @littletim98 what are you going on about?

  • Dude these are terrible fakes. I have each one of these games and they all have the wrong sticker art on the cover. Also some of the colors are on the carts are different.

  • why u repeating the same this 5 times? yeah they are fake "see the round thing?" some gba cartridges arnt clear so u cant "see the round thing" plus u could spot that they were fakes just by looking at the label not by the things u have mentioned... the official seal is always circular not oval and the Nintendo logo is all bold and horrible...

  • this guys is a stupid no life crapy moron they are licensed games so it is a reall game hears an example for a fake game POKEMON BLAZE RED

    THATS FAKE STUPID

  • @fusionfallangel

They are counterfeit. Chinese copies meant to rip people off. It's still fake.

  • My leaf green is real the sticker has to have the "E" on it to tell you know its been age rated by ESRB also the card inside sometimes has no ring around the nintendo, it depends on how early your model of pokemon is! Another trick to see if a game is fake is to look at the "Official NINTENDO Seal" on the sticker if the gold is dull or light brown its fake but if it has a nice hint of gold in it its real!

  • @Brappptings I have a real version of leaf green to and i agree with Brapptings also that sticker on Zeta416's version isn't even the right one

  • @Brappptings also my dad used to own a game shop when gba came out so ive seen my fair share of fake games in my time!

  • @Brappptings but the cartridge has the wrong shade of green, so and so does emerald. so they are fake

  • This seems like you're lying, because, I have a Pokemon sapphire and it works JUST FINE on MY DS Lite. It has all the qualities that you talked about, Nitendo logo inside thing, internal battery, e for everyone logo...etc. So, my version is probably NOT fake.

  • @Theamericanjedi10 OH DAMN ON THE BACK IT SAYS PATENT PENDING.

  • huh, so the ruby game I had all the things you mentioned, that I bought new in the box. Six years ago is fake? Woah, and I didn't really play through it 500 times, literally. I have 700 hours on the game. I highly doubt its a fake. I have ten pokemon gba games, all of them I've played through, never encountered a fake. This video is stupid. He basically described all the things a normal game has.

  • @DarkInferno6136 I have the same problem as his, I tried to migrate my Pokemon from Sapphire to my Soul Silver and it said I did not have any Pokemon in my Sapphire.. and then my save file got delete on Sapphire.. So can I fix it?

  • I was at gamestop once, and in the section where you buy gba games, it said Pokemon gold on it... even though there is not pokemon gold for the gba. I knew it was bootlegged and it was worth 40 bucks. I HAD NO MONEY AND REALLY WANTED TO BUY IT! Although, I told the people working there, and they ignored me. I went back the next day and it was gone :(

  • Okay I know that ppl here has said that its not fake.Well their right. Its just that some (like the 2 comments below this) sais that it has the E on it that shows that its real.Well that not wrong cuz only the real ones have the E on them but the E is actually just a company that helps to create the game,or something like that, but how to actually see if a game is real is by checking at the gold spiky circle. If you look closely at that youll se a text that sais "Original nintendo best of quality"

  • your a fucking idiot my leafgreen has the E and theres no circle/oval around the nintendo logo inside. it's just fucked up, like @TopherIncMedia said about his gold, that actually happened to a kid i know 's pokemon gold, we traded games, and then i couldn't save. i have my own G/S/Cs now and i think they may not save, it may only be crystal

  • my leafgreen is real and it has the E

  • well you arent smart. it says on the back of the cartridge MODEL NO. AGB-002 PAT.PEND.MADE IN JAPAN.NINTENDO OFFICIAL LOGO ABOVE IT. maybe if you showed the back of the games, people would realize that you are a fake. stupid.

  • WOW, could spot the fakeness a mile away, you got played man.

  • my emerald has all of those and i can migrate and everything its not fake

  • A.) round thing is supposed to show on everything but firered and leafgreen (generation 1 remakes didnt have holographic cartridge... things...)

B.) my emerald cartridge had the E at the same spot there, and its NOT a fake, played through it twice (almost 3)

C.) Only true way shown here is the different cover/label (more "glossy") and the numbers and nintendo logo

D.) My old pokemon blue that my friend gave me said "Game file has been deleted" when i first started it, want to know if its fake

  • that happened when i sat on my lg version :(

  • how do u fix a save battery?

  • @JayPokemonMaster hahaha loblolly hehe

  • How to show us an item on a youtube video, pick it up, bring it as close to the camera as you can and then keep shaking and moving it around so you cannot read it.

  • @DemonVicTheAnimeGuy Shut up dude I can see it, why can't you, buy some glasses and go watch some hentai you cunt

  • @DopeAsiian It was a joke retard

  • Thx i i went 2 gamestop in indio (califorinia) and i looked at the gameboy game it was a fake. i told them mostly everything you said and they gave me $200 for telling them so if anyone returns a fake they will tell them to throw it away and buy a free game here

  • @jbueno1091 Gameboy advance games are not sold anymore...

  • @zezimakiller44 yes they are in some good major game shops or go in second hand game shops!

  • i bought a fake fire red...:(fro ebay D:

  • I ordered Pokemon emerald 2 days ago off amazon. So I'm wait for it and if it's fake I'm fucked

  • There are atleast 17 letter e's on it, which one??!@

  • i always thought you could replace the battery of a fake pokemon game with a real battery, does it work? will it play normally and save like it normally should?

  • Nintendo did realese some folty ones they said it in an anouncement.

  • Thumbs up if you got scared when he coughed.

  • aaand Can you say aaand again?

  • Mine has the E and the internal battery and is legit, I bought it in a store.

  • thanks man. My pokemon emerald was fake.It always deleted when i beat the elite four, AND i got a glitch that made my starters all legendaries,Rayquaza, groudon, and kyogre. Now i hope my fire red is not fake

  • my sapphire has an E on the corner and i think its legit it has a halographic sticker and it let me migrate my shiny treecko. i also have a leaf green and normally you can see the internal battery but my leafgreen has a mark where the internal battery should be. i got them from my friend and i have migrated a shiny abra from leaf green.

  • Hg

  • i really hope to see some colors too on the pokemon 3DS upcoming games

  • did u but them off of some guy named tamarpe?

  • Wow......I got fucked.

  • haha this is scaring me haha i just bought these 5 games off ebay off one person

  • @dcsktr4296 a bunch of people on ebay sell these fake games, usually all 5 at once. thats the sure sign that you're getting fakes right away, especially if they are selling the 5 games multiple times. i bought 5 off ebay last summer and they were fake, the guy i bought them from had no clue (he bought them from a big seller). just watch out...i was super pissed when i found out mine were fake. i ended up buying a legit emerald game at my local game store though lol

  • How do you make a fake pokemon cartridges?

  • i had sex during this video am i bad

  • Did you finish the game?

  • Maybe the internal battery is dead?....

  • you are an idiot. this is a real game. They sell them on Ebay REFURBISHED which is why they are different. Also, they are shipped from Asia so there are differences in them. the reason it has the "Save file is okay" is because they at one point ran dry, so they had to be replaced.

  • you know whats sadder than an old ass man like you playing gameboy games,me watching this crap...

  • Looks like a legit game cartridge.

Plays like a legit game cartridge.

Has a round battery, so not legit...

    Alrighty then.

  • @grimm697 hes talking about the save issue, i have the same thing, when you play then save, then turn off, then turn on and try to play it automatically deletes your file. but mine are fake because of the cartridge and colour coating to glossy

  • @jabbawockeez113 ive learned though if you double save it works aha, bc it overides

  • @jabbawockeez113 so games where you double save on are fake... i have a fake original gold version then darn and my crystal too

  • @jabbawockeez113 Yeah, just a joke. I don't even know where my carts are, so I just emulate (which is awesomely legal, since I still own the games).

  • How about "The label and color of the game is different." That "round thing" is called the internal battery. Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald all have internal batteries to save the time. LeafGreen and FireRed don't have internal batteries because there is no time in those games. The labels aren't wrong because they aren't glossy; they are wrong because the background is different.

  • @Rynocreature777 *"...label and color are different." Excuse my grammar.

  • 1:11 *jumps* o crap he's going to show something scary 1:18 wait THAT GAME IS FAKE IT WILL SELF-DESTRUCT 2:05 no explosion yet 5:20 3.. 2... 1... uh-oh darn it this doesn't have explosion ={

  • uploaded the day before Christmas

  • the real versions have the battery in them that's what keeps the in game clock going

  • I have round batterys on my games and they are not FAKE

  • Do you think that a red and blue version could be fake

  • Could I have Emerald version

  • ch' every five fucking words god damn man you need to quit that i bet that and your repeating info got you so many dislikes

  • i got leafgreen when it came out and it has the E and a round battery

  • You forgot Mystery Dungeon. And the shovelware.

  • sub to me slaking wants you to

  • thats why my game always got deleted on my pokemon emerald

  • all my real games have the battery, in fact my ruby battery just dies so clock based events don't happen anymore (didn't even know ruby had those)

  • my ruby and sapphire games dont have the circle thing around the nintendo symbol and i can migrate pokemon.

  • its real the same this happened to my fire red it just when bad

  • why dont you just buy the real shit from a game store. like gamestop....why go cheap for something you love.

  • They're not fake. The Save Battery is dead. Same thing happened to my Gold Version. I played it for years, The save battery died, and I lost the save. It happens. DS Games have better batteries. The other differences are because they are manufactured in different countries.

  • @TopherIncMedia I thought the gba also used flash saving which doesn't die out as easily?

  • @TopherIncMedia No, these are fake. The colouring on the labels are wrong, the logos are either wrong or not present, and the labels themselves are incorrectly made. I've seen these before.

  • @TopherIncMedia If they were manufactured in another country why do they have Fake ESRB on them?, try googling ESRB "E" Rating or Pokemon Leaf Green Cartridge.

They are fake, The rest of the label is done very well for a novice but it is not reflective like the real ones. But the ESRB rating is what gave it away to me, the rating is not and never to my knowledge has been tilted.

  • @TopherIncMedia nope these are fake if you look at them they have the ESRB rating yet a nintendo seal of quality for europe

  • @TopherIncMedia They are fake. The battery is different, the circuit board not only looks bootleg, but was done incorrectly. The battery may be dead, but they are still fake.

  • @TopherIncMedia yeah they are

  • @TopherIncMedia I can tell by the labels. None of these are real.

  • @TopherIncMedia they use flash storage now, so no battery at all!

  • Comment removed

  • what does ftw stand for?

  • @Dead00Pool for the win

  • @Dead00Pool free the whales

  • @Dead00Pool fuck the what

  • how a buy

  • For american games, the game code should be located bottom right just under the Nintendo seal. BTW don't ever buy shit for china, israel or some other country

  • EMERALD FTW!!!

  • You do know different countries makes them differently... don't you? I have an original Japanese Ruby and the actual cartridge is completely different (besides the obvious text) than the English version.

  • my pokemon sapphire battery has run dry

  • Really bad video this should show real games side by side with the fake it is much easier to explain
