why so much hate for U of T? york has an even better business program than U of T does and U of T has better engineering than york does...they're both good schools depending on the program. not all UofT students are smart and not all Yorkers are dumb...
@NazzyWazzy19 where do you suggest i go (york of UofT) for life sciences. I want to get into medical school but i think UofT will be unfair, marking wise (from what i hear)
@ArenThomasian i need to get into law school and i have the exact same problem :( i wish i knew!! (i want to stay in toronto) but York doesn't have a good as reputation as a school than U of T but with that being said, U of T is terrible marking wise...

@hicham1maroc go on the osap website, apply when needed and you should recieve a student loan. after you finish 4 years of uni you have 4 years to pay them back, by they you will probably have a job.

I find it kind of sad that people spend so much time and energy hating on York. You don't even go here, what's your reason? Only students and faculty have legitimate reason to hate York, after all, it has the power to disappoint us, not you, faceless student.
@plootiy Having fun doesn't automatically lower your GPA. How ignorant of you. Some people are able to balance their studies and personal life... not U of T students though, I guess they have less to balance with regard to the latter.

People don't actually learn at YorkU...they gets dressed for school and do this.

York is not an "unreputible" school, and in fact, unreputible is not a word lol
York, like all schools, has some programs that are ranked among the top in the country, and some that aren't

For York students, they had to calculate how to form a conga line. Took them a few months from what I heard.
