There are many glaring omissions in this movie, most notable of all, the persecution of the Jews in Europe which made them come to the land in the first place. However, the fact is that every military conflict produces refugees. There are many glaring omissions in this movie, most notable of all, the persecution of the Jews in Europe which made them come to the land in the first place. Arab people know very little about the holocaust most think it is a fabrication or exaggerated. If anything, its underplayed. Ive heard it said that Palestinian leadership deliberately forbids the study of the holocaust for fear that it will 'confuse; the Palestinian citizens. Do they take their people for fools ?

As an Israeli, my question is: How many Palestinian people would be happy to share this land with the Jewish Israelis ? No one really knows the answer to this and i believe that it is crucial that 'we' Palestinians and israelis learn to share in order to end this 22 year old struggle. The land is holy to us all and surely it is the will of Almighty G-d to test us and see if we humans are capable of settling our differences and respecting each other as equals.

As an Israeli historian myself, watching this movie make very aware of the need for more communication and understanding between Palestinians and Israelis. Many of the points raised in this movie should be open to this honest debate, to the benefit of both parties. I sincerely believe in co-existence but its clear that Al Jazeera is still very committed to only the Arabic narrative.

Isolated incidents with radical Arabs occurred, in answer to the ethnic cleansing that had started, but ultimately a trained army tossed out 700,000 Arabs and mowed down most of their homes. Erased them and imprisoned them.

At least 1 million Israeli Jews have actually left Israel, seeking a life somewhere else. Now Israel has to actually PAY people to come to live there. Israelis left for bureaucratic and financial reasons. The word "Palestine" is derived from the word "Philistine" which refers to an ancient GREEK people who lived in the land of Canaan (ISRAEL) during the time of the Israelites. Why do the arabs of gaza and the west bank call themselves after an ancient GREEK people? Because they know they have no historical claim to that land, and so they try to create a false identity for themselves. As Golda Meir says, there is no such thing as a "Palestinian" people...

...The original homeland of all arabs, including the arabs in gaza and the west bank, is modern day Yemen and Saudi Arabia. That's the arabs homeland NOT the land of Canaan (ISRAEL) which belongs to the Jews.
