I personally think this is the worst opening. It has some horrible, slow, stiff, non-fluid and lazy animation (I mean, holy shit, look at Anemone's face at 1:03, what the fuck) and the song just has some horrible singing, just screaming.

All the other OPs are infinitely better than this one. The best is either the 1st or 4th.

I didn't like the last episode of Eureka Seven. I think it was cheesy and unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, I love the anime its great but the last episode sort of messed up the whole serious outlook. It desperately wanted to understand humans. Eurekas task was to form a connection, to gather knowledge, to understand humans. In the beginning she was en empty shell

It was portrayed when she was in that library several times. Her "book", which represented her, was empty, ready to be filled. And remember the episode with the other coralian girl? Where she had drawn that large heart into the book, which represented her love for Renton? THAT's the information, that Eureka brought back to the command cluster. It was the FIRST information the scab coral itself got about humans through the coralian girl eureka.

So, ok it might look a bit corny at first. But that heart the scab coral send out, was actually the very FIRST message, the scab coral send out to all of humanity. It's first form of communication with humanity other then destroying the planet by covering it completely.

THat's why i LOVE the ending. It actually has alot of meaning in it, and on top of that, it's finally a happy ending which made sense and felt just right. Won't you agree?
