Aweosme job, I think one of the reason Alex looks a bit wierd is because his nose isn't long enough. I draw the features first, usualy the eyes, I find it easier that way. I used to draw the shape of the face first but I found it quite difficult to get the proportions right. I want to be an artist when I'm lder, doubt I will, I'm not good enough... still there's time, I'm only 14.

Wouldn't it have been easier to have printed the reference picture in greyscale to make it easier to get the shading on the features? When I'm doing a colour pic in grey I convert the pic.

yeah i think it is amazing. the eyes and the hand was what i could see but other than that. wow! i couldn't do that. i'm not the best drawer in the world.. or speller or... yeah but i thought it was AWESOME and i think you should come to me and teach me how to shade cause you do it brilliantly!

You are one of the best ive ever seen. Work on perfecting the eyes and mouths and you WILL be the best, seriously thats all that drags you down. Make sure eyes are pointing in the right direction and mouths are at the right height. You are already great, sort out the (quite minor) problems and you will be incredible!
