yeah i kind of knew that but not really cause my old helio ocean did that..and i found that out cause i had it in a carrying case that has a magnet and it rotated every time i put it in there..i dont think you should do that though cause it screwed up my phone and it sometimes just stayed in landscape and wouldnt go back

I think many phones use this technique, i have an old Imate K-jam, and my pouch closes by 2 magnets, i kinda noticed the first day i got the device, thought it was broken at first but then realized :D

haha you beat me to this video. recently got the x1 and went out to get a case for it and noticed every time i slide in the phone it turned on and rotated. which was a big pain in the ass because the only case that fit it very nicely had a magnet. so i had to cut the case open and take out the magnet and everything is fine. like i said i made a video of it too but you beat me to uploading it.
