  • heh, at the end in the "A few G-Trainer customers" section they doubled a few of the entries. perhaps the nebraska huskers got two of these? :)

  • AC Milan Has One !

  • Wouldn't the shorts be putting all your weight on your junk? No thanks.

  • Seems like you could make a similar thing in a garage. Make a harness or buy one that allows you to hook bungies cords or those elastic bands near your shoulders so you are upright & weigh yourself & adjust the straps accordingly. Save about $74,000.

  • For someone recovering their ability to walk that didn't have access to a warm water pool, this could be very beneficial. The adjustable "gravity" would make load-bearing a gradual process. Retraining ones gait after a hip or knee replacement?

  • what is its application realistically? If u have a fracture take 6-8 weeks to let it heal unless u are an elite elite athlete then do water treadmill work. if u r seriously overweight and want to reduce impact use an non impact (there are several) machine or version of cardio. Why use this on a perfectly healthy individual? make their gate move faster? hence training their body to run faster? use bungies and u are in free space. look someone help convince me this can benefit healthy people

  • my bet is it is just for athletes, college and pro... no one else will have one

  • If an athlete is injured, after some healing, they can use the machine to maintain fitness. A perfectly healthy individual COULD use it for being safe regarding the stress that running causes on the body. The machine is mainly for athletes and injuries. It is different from pool training because the water causes a force against the legs, impeding on the persons natural running gate.

  • Well, the clippers bought it, so it must not be THAT effective :)

  • Kinda like floating in water, you are getting displaced/lifted by evenly distributed pressure.

  • i dont get it...

does the air pressure counter the force of gravity? how does this help you train

  • how much?

  • believe it or not it costs $75,000

  • lakers use this too
