When the boy who sees dead people in the Sixth sense explains his 'gift' to Bruce Willis, there's a moment where a 'ghost' passes in the corridor. At that point the entire cinema gasped. That is how I felt when the sack rolled. Wow! Good acting, good cinematography.

The Japanese are amazing actors - so realistic. I watch U.S., U.K., French, Dutch, German movies, but they sure are waaay up there!

you guys got it all wrong. Asami isn't actually evil, what we see throughout the entire film is based on aoyama's perspective of her.

the bag represents Aoyama's own feeling. at first the bag was sealed tight, and when he started to call her more often, the bag moves showing his feeling trying to get out.

she was never waiting in the room for his call in the first place, in aoyama's mind, his perfect woman is doing nothing but waiting for his call.

You have to be out of your mind to think Asami isn't actually evil. She is evil and possessive to a whole new level. Granted, she had a torturous and horrifying childhood but that does not justify the pain she unleashes on others. I don't know much about similes and metaphors, but to me, bag doesn't represent anything of that sort. It's basically an introduction of Asami's reality to the viewer, by freaking us out.
