Easier way to unlock:

Have an AC4 saved file on your memory card and after the first mission it should be available. Doesn't matter wat difficulty thumbs up so everyone can see it

if you play on knight on normal dificulty you can unlock the wyvern in the first mission. anyway thats what happened to me.

but didnt you know you can unlock it on the 1st mission of the game, any difficulty and start shooting down all aircraft save the bombers for later and dont any of them escape from the zone when theyre yellow after shooting down all green or yellow airbornes go for the bombers and finish them up,debriefing and you unlock wyvern x-02

@GeforcerFX if you have a ps2 you need to have ace combat 4 and 5 data to unlock it after the second mission in any difficulty

@maknas the real way to get it is by haveing saved info about ac4 then after you finish the first mission you unlock it
