Where do I begin? Raving about Thornton is totally redundant, however...thud. "Invocation" winds its notes around your video. What a great way to spend 10 mins! thud..just saw this movie for the first time last week. Again, redundancy prohbits further comment...it's just that I actually stopped breathing at the "look back at me"..thud. Off to get ice pack for any possible injuries...ok, maybe after I watch this just one more time! Thank you gsbohn!

RA told the book was a great help for him...and I found in it what I saw in him...when he was playing the character...

The pieces about loneliness feelings are very moving too...

Jane Eyre was nice. to read and see..but this one is very special...indeed...definitely

It's hard not to find great love with North and South. I took me a couple years before I would read the book. I didn't want anything to possibly spoil my fantasy with John Thornon. LOL!! But I finally did and loved it - especially the end.

I think I own almost every period drama that was ever made in the last 30 years, and still nothing compares to north and south - Jane Eyre 2006 being the second best.. You are so right about the chemistry. Got to hand a lot of credit to Sandy Welch for wonderful screen adaptation.
