  • @GregsGuitars Hi Gregs I love your videos, I'm french so exuse me for grammar. If you should choose a Fender Stratocaster, to have the same sound, look of Jimi Hendrix. Wich one would you take ? arround 700-800 $

    Thanks you.

  • do you have any idea why the 70,s classic strat is so much more than the 50,s series strat because im from the uk and a 70,s strat here is 500 pounds yet the 50,s one is 350 pounds so why the huge price difference

  • Does the tremolo bar feel good? or is it "weak"? (Usually Mexican strats bridge are fine when you play for the 2 first weeks but after a while the tremolo bar get's fucked up, and you have to replace it...lol)

  • Hey! Nice guitar, amazing sound, thank you for this video!! But just a question, where do you find your instrumentals to play on?

  • I want this Soo bad

  • I like how much-Borat

  • these guitars sound good but i don't like the three bolt neck on it

  • Great job!!!

where are the play a long tracks from?

    thanks

  • i have this exact same guitar. just bought it in january. its a 2011 mim. same color same everything. i'm selling it because i've only played it a couple times and i'd hate to see it sit under my bed. i'm selling it for 700 including shipping. retail is 750. send me a message if you're interested

  • I want to buy some Pickups,

I am among Fender Vintage Noiseless and Texas Special Pickups you who have both types of Pickups which you like best and why?

  • Is there a big difference between maple and rosewood? I really want the maple but I hear its a big difference.

  • anyone that is interested in this type of guitar let me know i got one for sale in good conditon for sale,,,i'm asking 450...msg me for pictures....

  • Nice mic stand

  • the neck pickup kicks ass!

  • I'm lovin your tone man. What pedals are you playing through?

  • Greg, go dirty with those guitars!!

You're getting kinda boring and monotone... Always the same clean tones and licks and shit...

  • Awesome playing, tone and that axe looks divine. :-)

  • can this strat get the "lenny" type clean sound?

  • I wish i could play like you.

    Great feel...

  • hey greg what do you love about strat? I've never owned one and is considering buying one

  • mexican

  • hi greg fantastic playing as ever. quick question is this guitar mexican made? and whats your oppinion of it?

  • hi

    what distortion are you using??

im just trying to get a distortion like that

  • What pedal is that?

  • I want this guitar in white...

    Sounds sooo good...

  • beautiful tone and playing here, well done!

  • Hi Greg,

As told you, got this guitar yesterday from you. It is a very nice guitar and I am very pleased with it. I tested it also today with some friends of mine and they all liked it.

Thought it was appropriate to tell you here how content I am with this guitardeal.

So thank you very much again Greg and keep up the good playing!

    Regards,

  • HI, EXELENT sound Wich strings and string gauge are you using?

  • @angelquinones 11-49, but this one had stock strings when I made the video

  • @GregsGuitars Hey, how do you find this guitar? Nice to play, does it sound nice in person and feel good? thanks

  • @angelquinones COOL THANKS . . .

  • I really like the looks of this guitar, i mostly play metal but i need something for blues and stuff. Do anybody know if the stock pickups are vintage or a little bit hotter?

  • What is your opinion to upgrade this guitar with cs 69? I'm thinking to make that combination ...I want the "Hendrix" tone... Help please

  • @TheStratocaster81

The CS 69's will be a step in the right direction. Probably the best pickups Fender makes. Pickups alone aren't going to make you sound like Hendrix, though. It's all in the hands.

  • Nice, i was unsure about these 70's reissues, so much of this particular guitar is what i love in a Strat.

I'm not keen on the three bolt neck, nor the tuners or that large headstock.

But the overal look is lovely, i have a few Strat's myself and will add one of these to my collection for sure.

  • got a really nice Larry Carlton sound!...Love it!

  • I see in the info this guitar is upgraded with Vintage Noiseless Pickups. Good choice. I have them on my American Deluxe V-neck... love those pickups. Now, if only I could add Gregor's talent level, too!!

  • I love how the way you play, you can tell that it's you. It's fantastic. Keep it up!

  • what's wrong with the guitar? Just because it is MIM doesn't mean its not a good guitar. Its about the player anyway. Greg could make a box and shoe strings sound good

  • lol what a coincidence. ive seen a bunch of your videos on the squire classic vibe stuff

this guy gregor hilden is awesome. i wish his albums sounded more like his jams

  • @YogiSizzle My 91 MIM is just as incredible as my 01 MIA Special Edition NOS and cost 1/4 the price or less.

  • @YogiSizzle see that thing in the background?

  • i usually dont like guitars that have that wood finish, but this vid has changed my mind about that. for strats anyway. haha

  • Thanks Man for your videos! Wonderful touch an great sound! In my opinion mexico classic series (strat & tele) is very good.

  • thanks... but the guitar is not bad...

  • @GregsGuitars Great playing, Greg. Do you notice a difference between 2 and 3 piece bodies? And what's your opinion on neck joints (and if they're loose, tight, etc)? Just curious.

  • difference between 2 and 3 piece bodies - I don't now... opinion on neck joints don't know either, seems to be tight. I don't care too much about that as long a guitar feels and sounds good

  • @GregsGuitars agreed... i think too many people get into those minor details that don't have as much effect on the sound as you'd think... if it sounds good thats all that matters...

  • Hey man, great playing. If I can dare to make a suggestion, maybe a few more tube-driven sounds would help showcase what these guitars can do. I'm sure the Okko is a very nice, amp-like overdrive but I sometimes get the feeling that's it's masking the tone of some of these guitars a bit when it kicks in. Of course I could be wrong. Cheers and thanks for sharing the videos, even if we're not able to buy another guitar at the moment, they're very informative :-)

  • you can hear this guitar without Okko in this Video too..! later in the Video when I switched the Okko - it addes just a little bit more gain, does not change the character too much
