@1992Rizki Yes. They had to change the names of the bosses in Street Fighter II because Balrog's name was M.Bison in Japan. The Boxer Mike Tyson threatened to sue because the name sounded too much like his actual name. So M.Bison[Boxer] became Balrog, Balrog[Matador with claws] became Vega, and Vega[Shadowloo Dictator] became M.Bison
@darkof Mike Tyson isn't in jail. And Mike Tyson still holds the copyright to his name and likeness. Just because a person isn't active, doesn't mean you can still rip off his name.
@Dman4Life8017 I never understood why they changed the names so drastically though. Balrog could have just remained balrog (as the balrog is the name of a demon, and he repeatedly referred to himself as such). They could have just switched Bison with Vega and be done with it.
@252Dazz252 I just think it's more emotions in the japanese voice acting, and of course it's a personal opinion, how could it be anything else. How you can say one language is superior to another is beyond me, I would love to hear the criteria for such a thing.
