  • Thank you!

  • I am a female, 5'9.5 and roughly 245 lbs. I've lost 20 lbs over the past weeks doing one of 6 different zumba dvds (plus one other dance dvd) twice a day. I also walk most nights and do pushups and crunch variations 3-7 days a week. Is this enough variation in my workout, or if I keep doing just this workout, will I be at risk of plateau?

  • Love it!! Positive support without being patronizing wheeee (thats rare). In addition you didnt come across like you think fat people are stupid. Sensible, supportive, realistic.. AWESOME

  • Thank you so much for posting this...all the other videos that came up in my search for exercise for the obese just had lots of talking. You showed concrete examples! I love it! I have 300 lbs to lose and can't do anything on the floor or on my back. Even walking for more than 5 minutes or so is very painful. Please post more!! I really, really, really, really appreciate it!

  • I loved the video! I changed it a bit for my self though I did 2 min and then rested 20 sec. Thank you! :) Subscribing!

  • Great video. Thank you for posting it. My mom and I are both trying to loose weight. Someone gave us an 'easy' workout dvd. We tried it... It might be easy for someone who doesn't have knee and back problems but not for a really large person, I couldn't make it through 2 min at the pace they had. So, again, thank you for some good truly beginner exercises.

  • Excellent video, Scott. I am a personal trainer and I think you're great.

  • What size weights do you suggest people start out with

  • Great video Scott! Question, what kind of timer are you using for this video? Thanks!

  • @OneMixDJ Thank you. It's a Gymboss Timer.

    I love it!

  • Wooosh. Thank you for the video. Bit ashamed to admit my heart pumped for that, and I know that wasn't that much... But a start is a start!

  • This is a very good video. It is a simple positive first step in the right direction for the couch potato full of ambition but lacking the willpower.

  • Hi! Have you thought about intellectus diet (do a google search for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • Oh thank you so much!! i'm 17 and over weight and i want to stay plus size but i just want to be healthy thank you so much started to sweat a little but i can still breath how long should i do the beginners before i move to the next step ?

  • Perfect! I am 'plus' size (gawd I hate that term!), out of shape, and wanting to get back into working out. I have been searching for something that I will benefit from that won't kill me in first set or force me to quit because I have a head rush and can't breathe. Most 'plus' or beginner workouts are for ABSOLUTE beginners. This works the larger muscles and I get to decide how intense it is by how many sets I do. LOVE....FAV...and I will continue to do this. Thank you soooo much!

  • Im glad finally someone made a plus size workout video for beginner. All the others everyones fit and can bend and move better than plus size people. I love your video please keep up the good work maybe one with a little more intense with some sweating and on to intense training. GOOD JOB

  • @utubeview99857 You're right, "Good Job!" However, is this the only video he has plus size beginners? I'm curious. Also, can you or anyone recommend any other videos with similar context? Many thanks!

  • @Hempstead08610 I do Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone. They are aerobic exercises you do at home, and it's not dancing, which is good. And you don't need a lot of room. What I like is that she offers a "modified" version of all of the moves. I have two sets of workouts and another coming in a couple of days. I swear by them because I am "fitness challenged". Good luck!

  • @ImmortalSpirit1 Thank you so much for the information. Your input was deeply appreciated. I too, am "fitness challenged" so I will use your "Good Luck". :-) Again, many thanks!
