  • But the song is a traditional British folksong that we stole from them.

  • nice job guys

  • Does anyone have a tab for this version? It sounds incredible

  • This is Keith, the guy in the video. I stole this version from James Taylor, who did it for some TV documentary program. I just figured it out from listening to it, so I don't have any tab, and writing it out would be really hard, but it's actually constructed from a stack of fairly common riffs. I could probably come up with a "chord sheet with hints" -- I'll look into it.

  • thanks a lot

  • OK, I put together a chord sheet, with some tab for the tricky parts. Go to our website (listed in the Info -- apparently URLs in comments get them deleted), and go to the SongList to find it.

    Have fun,

    -- Keith

  • What a wonderful and meaningful song. Thank you so much.

  • Makes you proud to be an American. A very haunting song.

  • I think it is a American Revolutionary War song.

  • i like it

  • its too fast but besides from that its not bad

  • I don't deny their talent, but I do like the Mors Syphilitica version of this song a whole lot more. Lisa Hammer's voice is hauntingly beautiful and her husband Eric, is a miraculous musician. Again, this duo's version of this old song is not without its merit-- I can't take from them their laurels, but... I guess my being a MS fan clouds my judgement a little bit. Good job.
