I just watched this episode for the first time and it made me incredibly mad. I didn't appreciate Josh's reaction to Sean's attempt at finding a home for that puppy. I also didn't appreciate all the other people laughing and snickering. It's not funny, he was doing something good. Josh and his team mates are all assholes.

The concept of the show: great, The footage: awesome.. the editing:...laughable. this has to be one of the best shows I've seen but because of the producers, it comes across as this staged, unrealistic reality tv show. A bit tragic really.

Reed is awesome-I just received for Christmas the book he has out-I haven't finished it yet, but I really like what I've read so far. This young man has guts, and obviously knows what he's doing. Ya know, Both groups of Meterologist are acting like those "competeing" teams on the movie Twister. You folks need to do one thing and thats work TOGETHER to improve the warning time so that less lives are lost or injured when a tornado forms. It's not a mater of proper protocol or what frequency you need to be on and quit threatening on another and basically quit being a bunch of Infintile Ego-Maniacs and help each other help the public to be safer during the storms. What I see here is a lot of reality-show created controversy. As in: nothing to see here. The producers apparently didn't find storm chasing interesting enough so they gave the players a script. JMO

Josh has always been kind of an arrogant ass to anyone who doesn't have access to a DOW. Although Reed and Sean don't use DOWs to aid their storm chasing, Josh thinks their somehow unscientific and/or don't believe in the overall scientific "goal" of storm chasing. Honestly I think the source of his bitchy attitude comes from the fact that there are those who can catch a storm using a single laptop while there are storms that Josh can't seem to catch using 10 radars at his disposal.

Reed does not have a leg to stand on. The FCC will take an EXTREMELY dim view of any chaser who goes around broadcasting kilowatts of radio power across the spectrum with some outlaw RADAR system. Timmer may be vain and secretive, but he's smart enough to know this. I bet this big 'RADAR WAR' is nothing more than some creative editing by the TeeVee people.

If Wurman sees any interference in his DOW instruments, one call will bring the feds down on Timmer like Dorothy's house on the witch.

It's not. I've been chasing for two years (going on 3!) and I have NEVER experienced this. For most people it's a hobby. Storm chasing is an exciting, fun, sometimes frustrating (when you miss a storm but you get over it), unique experience.

This show is over-dramatized and HIGHLY unrealistic. Sometimes the absurdity that I see in this show makes me feel embarrassed to be part of that community.

This is why I have developed a dislike for Wurman, He trys to act like the big dog chaser in the field, if I remember correctly this was the guy who kept tanking when it came to telling where the freakin tornado was crossing the road. Who cares what Freq reeds is/was on. The chances of it causing interference with V2 is far less than the chances of Wurman interfering with it!
