  • song name?

  • then environmentalist is gonna be PiSSED

  • What's wrong with dynmicpara? Are you serious, we need these kind of units too only to build airbases(that can hold C-5 Galaxy's) and ports in days perferable faster than 14 days. I'm gonna shoot down all your points right now. 1. Huge Logistical expense. Well thats true and if they got all there supplies from airdrops it wouldn't be that huge and plus the benifits out way the downfalls. 2. 14 days. already explained it. 3. Threats. We can have SAMs, AAA, and sense its an airbase it'll have

  • I support LAND BASES that are SMALL, WELL CAMOUFLAGED and HARDENED. Read our Fighter-in-the-Box and BATTLEBOX web pages

  • Sweet! I thought you didn't there for a second, but yeah I do agree with you, during a force entry state of battle you want to land forces immediately not after 14 days, but I see mabe after a week or two, you would want to start building bases and airstrips for faster resupply and to allow heavier follow on forces.

  • Dynmicpara, whats wrong with you. You do realize this is exactly what we need in Iraq and Afghanistan, so we don't have to have land convoys protected by MRAP truck leaders and follow ups getting themselves blown up. We need a Unit that is air deploable and can get an Airbase that can handle C-5 Galaxy's so our light infantry can keep themselves supplied, very, very well. We need a unit that can build ports fast too. And as for all the threats listed to these airports, they can all be solved

  • Read what I said more carefully. I am saying we need the dirt air base that is SMALLER to enable airborne logistics; our planes like the C-17 to have air cushion landing gear so they can even land on uneven ground IMMEDIATELY not after 14 days of effort

  • Thats the point! If we have a coalition thats gonna stay in Iraq for 7 years we need to have permeant bases. And can't air cushions pop? Also I read the thing about battle box's on combat reform and I don't really get the advantages of a "BB" over a tent. They'll both kill you, its just the "BB" gives you more options

  • The air cushion skirts are pressurized constantly by a turbine engine and cannot "pop" from small holes; they'd have to be ripped apart by an explosion, afterwhich you can lower your wheel landing gear if you have to...

  • There's nothing to work with on a tent to hold up armor panels or dirt or sand bags etc.

  • Oh ok, so what your saying is we can fortify them after they get there, right?

  • Hey dynmicpara. I was just wondering why you don't support land bases but you do support sea basing. Whats up with that?

  • Read my comments above. I don't support clusterfuk FOBs on land or sea (super aircraft carriers)

  • Air cushions are not like balloons that need a closed structure they are force-fed air and can take bullet holes

  • Hi, i was really impress by the planning and execution of this project.

Would you help me to plan the rewiring of a runway.
