It appears as though you are looking at the back edge of the storm, thats why you can see straight up the back and see the overshooting top. :)

@ksff286 You mean the anvil cloud. What is termed as the overshooting top can only be seen way out from the storm. The overshooting top view is where you can see more cumulus updrafts puching through the top of the anvil cloud.
