My consultation is Jan 31st and I want to schedule my surgery for the 3rd week in June when my son will be on summer break. Thank you so much for your inspiration and by sharing your journey. Some people think its a shallow thing, but having such trauma to your skin is psychologically damaging and I am done saying "if" now it's just a matter of when :)
You are an inspiration. My first daughter was born Aug 21st 2009, and my second daughter born Nov 16th 2011. Got up to 180lbs on both pregnancies... starting at 120lbs. The things we do for the precious little ones :) I am so proud of you!!! You really inspire me.
Your scars healed up nice, you can barely see them now. I thought about it but I need to lose alot of weight first and is currently pregnant and plan to finish having kids first but if I have good elasticity maybe my stomach won't look like some other ppl after preg, I might just be over weight and it will go away with weight loss

Congrats Becky!! You look fantastic! I hope one day to be able to afford to do this for myself. Had gastric bypass 15 years ago, lost 170 pounds and then went on to have 5 beautiful children (started that journey just 9 months after my bypass....OOPS);) Anyway, as you might guess, My tummy and excess skin hang nearly to my kneecaps. Had an initial consultation over a year ago, but insurance refused (BMI too high) and can't afford it outright. So happy for you though!! You go girl!!:)

Exercise and losing 34 lbs, I realized that the excess skin wasn't going anywhere. I've been watching your videos for months and it was a big motivation to finally schedule my tummy tuck surgery (next week). I'm very excited and nervous. Thanks for putting your videos out there they've all helped!!

@kidsandjazz It went very well thank you!! I'm 8 days post op today & up moving around no problems. The drain tube came out 2 days ago & the bruising is all but gone :) I'm still swollen so it's hard to see the actual final results but so far things look great! I had a c-section scar (straight up & down) that I hated which is one of the big reasons why I chose a TT. The scar is gone & I'm still having a hard time believing that's my new tummy every time my compression band comes off! LOL
I had my TT almost a year ago. And your video really helped me with my anxiety having it done. Thank you. I have to say the pain was minimal. The drainage tubes were the worst about 8 days afterwards. Otherwise there really wasn't much pain involved. I did not have a pain pump. Just took my pain pills for 5 days. Then only took motrin. Id do the surgery again in a heart beat. You are awesome Becky.. Thank you for all your honest information. God Bless you and your family!

Hi Becky, I am sat here typing 8 days post op. I watched your videos 12 months ago and decided to take the plunge as I have been unhappy with stretch marks and an op scar. As yet I havent even seen my scar as my surgeon has asked me to keep my dressing on for 10 days. Everytime I get panicy I think back to your videos and the points that you have raised. I don't know you but you have really helped me in my journey XXX
Hi Becky, loved watching your story. I had a baby at 16. I was very small and gained way to much. I was a single mom most of his life and could never afford a tt. Iv'e waited 19 years, and can now have a career were I can afford it! I've hated my stomach for so long and now can hardly contain myself. Because of work I have to wait until the spring. Watching your story is so exciting!! Yay for you!!
Just had a tt a week ago and haven't shared that info with many folks. You've inspired me. I have 3 fabulous kids and was tired of the saggy tummy, despite the tireless workouts, healthy diet, etc. I'm proud that I did it, but was reluctant to share with others for fear of judgment, I suppose. I'm so glad that you did this video, even though its been a few years since you've had the procedure done its still very informative and helpful. We have similar stories I'm only 5'1 and weighed 99lbs before pregnancy and highest weight before the c-section I was 134. needless to say i lost all the weight and have been carrying around excess of skin because i've been too afraid of getting the surgery (plus cost) But you make it look so worth it, all the pain and cost.

I am not only a Bypass patient 10 years ago who last 130lbs mother of two but apatient who suffered non-bypass surigcal issues. I have gone through 8 OPEN major abdomen surgeries and at least 35+ po-op operations. My abdominal area is a wreck!!! I cry each night pondering whether to do the reconstruction.

what's sad is my 2nd child was just about the same weight as both of your babies...10 lbs 3 oz. A lady was getting induced that same day with twins and she looked and asked, "oh you're having twins too?" LOL My first child was 9 lbs 14 oz...so my belly looks like yours...I am going for my tuck April 27th...very excited. Thanks for capturing your journey!

@kidsandjazz It went very well thank you!! I'm 8 days post op today & up moving around no problems. The drain tube came out 2 days ago & the bruising is all but gone :) I'm still swollen so it's hard to see the actual final results but so far things look great! I had a c-section scar (straight up & down) that I hated which is one of the big reasons why I chose a TT. The scar is gone & I'm still having a hard time believing that's my new tummy every time my compression band comes off! LOL

I had my TT almost a year ago. And your video really helped me with my anxiety having it done. Thank you. I have to say the pain was minimal. The drainage tubes were the worst about 8 days afterwards. Otherwise there really wasn't much pain involved. I did not have a pain pump. Just took my pain pills for 5 days. Then only took motrin. Id do the surgery again in a heart beat. You are awesome Becky.. Thank you for all your honest information. God Bless you and your family!

Hi Becky, I am sat here typing 8 days post op. I watched your videos 12 months ago and decided to take the plunge as I have been unhappy with stretch marks and an op scar. As yet I havent even seen my scar as my surgeon has asked me to keep my dressing on for 10 days. Everytime I get panicy I think back to your videos and the points that you have raised. Just had a tt a week ago and haven't shared that info with many folks. You've inspired me. I have 3 fabulous kids and was tired of the saggy tummy, despite the tireless workouts, healthy diet, etc. I'm proud that I did it, but was reluctant to share with others for fear of judgment, I suppose. I have been to scared due to me having a simple porcedure gone bad ( tubeligetion) turn into a Hernia of my belly n now I have an ugly belly button, its winking at everyone ... lol ... I'm so glad that you did this video, even though its been a few years since you've had the procedure done its still very informative and helpful. We have similar stories I'm only 5'1 and weighed 99lbs before pregnancy and highest weight before the c-section I was 134. needless to say i lost all the weight and have been carrying around excess of skin because i've been too afraid of getting the surgery (plus cost) But you make it look so worth it, all the pain and cost.

I am not only a Bypass patient 10 years ago who last 130lbs mother of two but apatient who suffered non-bypass surigcal issues. I have gone through 8 OPEN major abdomen surgeries and at least 35+ po-op operations. My abdominal area is a wreck!!! I cry each night pondering whether to do the reconstruction.

what's sad is my 2nd child was just about the same weight as both of your babies...10 lbs 3 oz. A lady was getting induced that same day with twins and she looked and asked, "oh you're having twins too?" LOL My first child was 9 lbs 14 oz...so my belly looks like yours...I am going for my tuck April 27th...very excited. Thanks for capturing your journey!

becky i am 4'10" too and a year ago went from 123lbs to 102lbs!! you've given me hope, that someday (after surgery) my "shar-pei" belly will be a thing of the past!!! thank-you so much for having the courage to post all of these very personal videos, i admire you so much! and you look amazing!!!!

Good 4 U Becky! I had mine @45 years old and it was the best thing I ever did 4 myself! Enjoy those babies...they grow up all too fast!
