when i try to graph it says "invalid dim" ??? what the heck is that?

It means that somethings wrong. For example, if you have a number like the square root of -1. You can set default by, for a TI-83 plus, 2nd, + and then find set defaults.

@steyrnumber1 when you are in the Y= screen one or more of your (plot) action are on. at the top of the screen you will see plot1 ,2 3 just put your cursor on them and hit enter to turn them off.

"Press X,T,theta,n"..... That's only if you're in Function mode...

To be in this mode, press "MODE" to get into it and highlight "Func" and press enter..
