oo the cathode ring looks good, shame they never make ones that are complete rings of light, theres always the part where they end.. wish they would do complete rings that curve off for the connections, that way the ends would be so close it would appear as a complete ring behind a lens.. anyway nice work guys

@terenhas Butain torches, clamps, sledge hammer! and some classic hand tools from the 15th century. haha Just pretty much what ever we need to take the lights apart and modify them it all depends on each project but its usually all the same stuff.

Can you wire the CFLs to take place of the brake lights that come on when you turn your parking lights on? I'm not really sure what that function is called. That would look amazing, having these are the driving lights, and the regular LEDs at full strength as brake lights.

Thats what he did, the original LEDS are now just for full brake power and the ccfls are wired as parking lights.

All that takes is a snip of the parking wire on the leds line.

Its just a hell of a job to get these apart, i took a set apart and u have to cut them apart. Not fun. They are welded together (The front and rear face).
