we will have high quality hologram screens. we might have to carry a very tiny tiny device that will have 20x or more the power of computers we have now and you can take it everywhere with you and it will project any hologram screen size you want that can be touch sensitive. I really think this will happen in the next 20-30 years.
the smart phones of today are more than two or 3 times powerful than the computers of 10 years ago in a very small device and with more capabilities.
@FireOFK Duno where you got that 3 times more powerful from.... Smart phones today can run things like Quake 3 about as well as a good computer in 1999/2000. So I'm not sure in what respect they are 3 times more "powerful"
@YUSKHAN I'm getting 5.5-6mbps on my 8mbps BT ADSL connection whatever time it is so I can't complain. With Virgin's *20mbps* service that I had before, it would drop to 2-3mbps sometimes. With their crap customer service, I was more than willing to pay for a BT line to be rid of them.
Well guess what guys im with BT and I am still on 512 K !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THAT !!!!! I had 2 Meg down the other week now on 512 !!!
More importntly, when are the BBC going to bring back Tomorrow's World? It was such a great program when it had Howard Stableford, Judith Hann and Maggie Philbin presenting.
Well we get 3G to our phones... wireless internet where ever we go... hmmm In the future the chances are internet will be free but with more adverts... Oh and the TV will be the new radio and the radio will be the newspaper... As for newspapers well! theyl be digital :P
Well vista is Windows NT highly modded!! Think dos has gon? how wrong you are! :P You could code windows NT all the way to Vista but itd take a hell of a long time.. Thing is though its still the same kernal!!!

I hated Dialup, streaming music, you could forget and pages took forever to load. I remember streaming video for the first time, being wowed by it.
