@DoctorMcBrown You can land on the water in fsx, it just depends on the aircraft... Some can land on water, some cant. I have a spitfire that can. Its something to do with the design script, thats what im told anyway

On the history channel they had a show on and there was a story about a b-17 that was strafed resulting in the gears in the belly gunner's door to get stuck, and the b-17 was badly damaged so they had to land it and as a result killing the gunner :(

the first and third forgot the landing gear the second crashed on purpose and fourth didnt lower it's RPM by lowering the engine speed...by the way the first one also did not went gentle...

@airbusa380andsas get an a2a simulation product, and it changed the crash settings for fsx for me, so i could actually attempt to land large planes in water instead of just it freezing and saying "splash"

AMD 955 at 3.2 GHZ

Radeon 4890 at 855 core and 975 memory

4 gb of ram at 1333 mhz
