This is frustrating. I love this kind of music, but no real bands that I've ever found play it, it's only in movie soundtracks. It's like a meaner, more heavy version of 80's Metal. Steel Dragon in Rock Star play it, too.

If anybody knows some real-world bands that play this style, please recommend them. And please no Steel Panther, I like them but their lyrics bug me.

Adam Pascal, solo artist, Broadway performer ("Rent", "Aida", "Cabaret"), actor, sang both the lead and the high back-up vocals on this song.

Jack Black is in the song, but they over-exaggerated his vocal contribution to the song in the film to make it look like he was leading vocals in the song. Adam Pascal actually dominates most of the vocals in the song.
