I think I've maybe bought 3 or 4 copies of Paint It Blue (to give away). This and Sway are a couple of the best covers out there.

Considering this is one of my favorite tunes by my second favorite band of all-time (maybe first?) , what I say next is REALLY SAYING SOMETHING....BUT....I like this version as much as The Stones original. First time I heard it, I nearly lost it. Both his covers on Paint it Blue are the strongest on the entire project. (along with Luther's soulful jam). The tone Alvin gets on electric is amazing. Pretty sure it sounds like he's not using a pick? Just yesterday, I put this on a friend's mixed cd.
