I would look in our recreational skate section in the 80mm wheel skates. Most of the skates you see on our site come with brakes. Only the real high end do not. 80mm wheel size will help you keep your speeds down and allow you to learn. A RB Twister 80 is a good one, but more expensive than for example a Moto 80. The Moto 80 can save you some cash, it's extremely comfortable and will allow you to enjoy skating and better your skills.
