@damianhankins2000 The mother has to be about 1 year old. The male is also mature at that age. Just take the nest box out regularly so the mother does not over lay. Eggs get bound in the female and the bones get soft if there are too many eggs. Once every 6 months is okay.  Have her checked by AVIAN vet to make sure she is not egg bound. This can kill the hen as the egg cannot come out and the bird will die. Must have warm humidity for prevention. Raising babies is hard work but priceless
