Wow I love hearing other peoples takes on songs I'm working on that piece and I'm playing it a little slower and you sound just as good if not better with that tempo

Flute - really good intonation, tone and vibrato!

Piano- nice accompanying - good sound and you follow well.

Tempo is a good Baroque tempo - don't pay attention to comments criticizing that aspect. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Very nice performance. I would slow it down a bit, but a solo performance belongs to the player, so make it your own and love it. Nice flute vibrato and nice piano fingers...I can see the artistry in both.  Please keep us updated on your performances...i would love to hear as you both progress :-)

I'm 12 and I recently did this piece for my grade six and got full marks for this piece. My dad is amazing at the piano and I know how much practise he put into this but I'm telling you you're amzing at the piano... adn you're 9. Keep up the good work flautist becasue your tone is amazing!!!!! x

The tempo is reasonable; it's up to the performers.

The manner in which Dominique plays this work reminds me a bit of Jean-Pierre Rampal (although not as polished as him yet). Valerie did a good job of subduing the piano's accompaniment.

You are obviously both very talented musicians, but I can't help but feel that in a couple of pieces (this and ravel's piece en forme di habanera in particular) the tempo seems to be a bit rushed. Take time to wallow in your sound, and really appreciate your tone. Congratulations on lovely playing!! :D

You're right; too fast. Needs room to breathe. Maybe she does not have have the endurance yet to do it as slow as it needs to be? As you say; wallow...that's a good description just as long as the vibrato does not get all gooey and sappy like Galway.
