Tal looks really young but was born 12/1986 so she was about 21 or 22 in this video. MAN you gotta love Beck don't ya and Tal is very talented and as well furtunate to be playing with Jeff.

Love Beck but Tal is so awesome I can hardly stand it. I am amazed @ her ability for her age. I've played bass all my life but she takes it to another level.She has made a believer out of me.

@philupdbucket I agree. I didn't know of Tal until I got Beck DVD footages. I was amazed by her Jazz style. She's not a show off, even thou I don't mind showing off some, but she plays music and her style fits Beck really well in my belief. Good day to U. BTW, try BassGirl5809. Tal is so bad-ass on the bass it's ridiculous. And, much more attractive to look at than some of Beck's other bassists. Plus, her body just seems to fit the bass perfectly, if you know what I mean...As illustrated starting around 1:52. Can be a little distracting!

If you don't know who Jeff and Vinnie are then welcome to the world. Glad to see you out of your cave. As for Tal, I've never heard of her until I saw this vid years ago and become a instant fan. One of the most amazing solos I've ever heard on bass. Let's not forget Jason on keys. Another amazing musician. This is a great band and my personal fav Beck line up. If you don't have Jeff Beck Live at Ronnie Scotts. Get it. This DVD really show cases them all. "Nadia" from the DVD is unreal.

@lorenv9631 You didn't get only that, you also did not get that there is a difference between them... she's a she, he's a... no wait minute, there is even more... she plays base, he plays guitar. I am a guitar player myself, and i play stuff like her on my base guitar, not that she's not good, i play as long instruments, as she is old, but on a base, you just hit notes, that is not hard, malmsteen can hit 100s of them per minute, but with guitar you have to transfer feelings.

@lorenv9631 Several reasons. His "dirty-clean" sound. His phrasing (he knows that rests are musical notes, too). He's "bluesy", while still being kind of "edgy", and plays with a lot of emotion . He's a lot like Clapton, in that respect :-) He's not a "shredder" or as awe-inspiring as like Greg Howe/Scott Henderson/Eric Johnson/Shawn Lane, but he does have an unmistakeable guitar voice. You know it's him, as soon as you hear the bends with the whammy bar, and the volume knob swells! lol!

Who can say there is a greatest guitarist. There are so many. I keep finding more and remembering more, Like Jeff Beck, Rory Gallagher, Orianthi, Desiree Bassett, Duane, Hendrix, Stevie Ray... I really enjoy watching Desiree Bassett because you can tell she 's having fun.

It's cool to see/ hear guitar players playing fast guitar notes sweeps etc. but this just goes to show playing slow and feel the notes and chords and upping the tempo here and there the audience will be pleased. The audience looked satisfied in the end. Jeff Beck and band....of course : )

If you like this get the DVD of Jeff with the same bandmates playing "Live At Ronnie Scott's" in London, a small jazz club recorded with great sound & video. If you are a player it will either make you want to quit or inspire you to want to practise more. :)
