Oh man the animation in these old cartoons was laughable, this was still probably the best animation for Spiderman though.

@MrDataCode Not really, this episode isn't too bad but some of the later episodes in the series have laughable animation, I mean like those William Shatner cut away spoofs. Just watch the series you'll see what I mean, I swear a few times they got animation sequences mixed up.

@Laughingblades Hmm well I was young when I watched these the first time so I quess I can only refresh my mind. I don't remember that being an issue though, I just think they really captured that 90's touch. So what series of cartoons do you think has good animation?

@MrDataCode We tend to judge quality by the context of what we know, and as kids we're easier to please, and when remembering nostalgic things our minds have a way of tweaking things. Watching these shows for the first time as an adult or watching them again, you'll probably notice mistakes in the animation, bad writing, ect.

I kind of grew up deprived of television so I only started watching this stuff when I was in my late teens.

@MrDataCode well, i hate the stereotypical stuff....but isn't he supposed to be what everyone considers to be a science geek? and the football players pick on him? i mean, in the version i always watched, he was called "puny parker". it kind of makes a connection to people because he wasn't some big, muscular hero---he was short and skinny. it made him so cute ^^. to switch from that to this....i guess its just difficult for me is all. i didn't grow up with this version

@YuukiHyouketsu Well I can see what you mean but this is Spiderman in his College years and he has been Spiderman for quite a while in this Era of his character, so with the strength he gets from the spider bite, you can only imagine he will get bigger not stay the same.

@arkv2 I disagree....the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon on the cw/disney was a MUCH better cartoon sir. Just my opinion though...to each his own. Spectacular spider-man had better fights, more succinct plot lines, and better character development and growth.
