  • I dont understand why an usherette couldnt have opened the movie. much as i like the iconic mouth and the way richard obrien sings it. they shouldnt have took wee patricias song away from her! Aw puuuuuuddin! #onemillionthreferencetoharleyquinn

  • Harley Quinn performs... SFDF

  • AAAHH!!! KILL IT NOW!!

  • Sounds like Truffles from Chowder

  • Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a truly talented woman... A doctor/singer/homicidal mad bitch....

  • creppy voice 0_0

  • @thisispoco ps. but i love it!

  • wait @tech097 are you saying that Richard O'Brien is the joker? since he is the voice that is singing SF/DF in the movie.....

  • why was this kept from me...I lu hu hu huove it.

  • Betty Boop? :)

  • "How was that Mr. J?"

  • @DjDrfreeman Joker: Hmm, nono, still not funny enough...-snaps- I KNOW! WE'LL TAKE YOUR SINGING LIPS, AND I'LL DUB MYSELF SINGING OVER YOUR VOICE!

    Harley: But Puddin' I think-

    Joker: IT'S BRILLIANT!!!

  • Harley Quinn?

  • @skyeon14 ...im okay with this...

  • AHHH, terrific!!! Thank you so so much!

  • So Patricia is singing this song then?

  • I want to commit a naughtiness with Patricia Quinn .

  • I love this but.. this isn't much of a montage.. it's the same picture.

  • why does her voice sound that...high and crazy. in the film her voice is completely different...

  • @IAmania289 It was sung by Richard O'Brien in the movie.

  • @Jefferlaih I think s/he meant actually IN the film... not just the opening song...

  • 15 people didn't get hot when they saw Janette Scott

  • @portsmouthsceneTV we call those people assholes

  • Such a charming version! Don't think it would work as well in the movie, but good nonetheless.

  • isnt that magenta?

  • @bananaPHONE1701

No. The actress who played Magenta (Patricia Quinn) also played as the Usherette in the original play.

  • 14 people dident hear michel renny tell us were we stand most probly

  • 14 people couldn't see Claude Rains.

  • Fourteen people got caught in a celluloid jam. Silly muggles.

  • damn :)

  • GodDAMN Patricia Quinn was a hot patootie.

  • Perfect harmony

  • i loe you lady

  • are there any videos of the original 1973 production? so is every stage production like the original or are they mostly like the movie?

  • @procrastinator300 Unfortunetly i do not belive there is any (at least circulating) footage of the original 1973 production. It was basically the same as the movie but obviously since it's a play and not the movie the staging had to be different to work on a stage. The biggest difference is that Science Fiction/Double Feature is sang by Patricia Quinn (Magenta) as her other charachter the usherette. The song also appeared at the end of the show as a reprise.

  • @EddieHazel74 i thought in the original, the music has different arrangements

  • @procrastinator300 Some of them, but like i said, it's essentially the same. Like how this song includes an acoustic guitar that was later dropped.

  • "Hi, I'm trixie!"

  • not that bad

  • I thought this would sound low and scratchy as her normal voice is.... LOL!

  • She should have sung this on the actual dvd, not richard obrian :/

  • OMG!!!! I ABSOLOUTLY LOOOOVE PATRICIA QUINNN!!! LIKE FOR PATRICIA QUINN!!!!!

  • i love this <3 i really didn't expect her to sounds like this (:

  • Patricia Quinn is so cute.

  • they should have let her sing it in the movie.

  • this...burns my ears

  • @RMRKatie

Rocky isnt for everybody, you just arnt a fan. no biggie.

  • WAIT!! you wanna tell me that this is PATRICIA QUINN ALIAS MAGENTA??!!? OMG a few seconds ago i heard it in the film and now this... it is shocking... but awesome

  • I can't get used to looking at her without heavy eye makeup on!

  • She's doing a Betty Boop-like voice here. Cute. Whereas in the movie, she sounds more like Greta Garbo.

  • She could of easily played Columbia with a voice like this!:P

  • I can't stop picturing Magenta!

  • why does that thing say "strawberry time"? I'm serious. What does it mean.

  • @nextgentacos123 It's a crappy concession stand candy. Terrible candy and a cute usherette selling it to you are a staple of movie theaters.

  • Strawberry Time XDD

  • I am seriously re-thinking 'Betty Boop' as the voice for this song?

  • Just great. just great.

  • 11 people didn't hear Michael Rennie when he told us where we stand!

  • @nodoubtfreak95 14 people didn't know how the message ran when it came from outer space.

  • @nodoubtfreak95

    on are feet ;)

  • I think it would be better if she sang it in the movie. She sounds so cute. Also she has the perfect lips ;)

  • I loved Pat's reaction when she found out she couldn't sing this in the film.

  • @xXLilyStRegisXx Bastard... you took my song...

  • STRAWBERRY TIME!

  • I think they made the right choice with the movie because her sound is too upbeat for the tone of the movie.

  • @xxxboy15 Oh my god, you're a fucking retard. xxx

  • @xxxboy15 You are so wore some to say that patricia quinns voice is horrible. i bet yours isn't any better.

  • What?

  • @voldystapshoes She didn't sing it in the movie, that's what happened.

  • I like how she sings in the movie better, i know in the movie the lips are richard o brien but u know what i mean

  • @kgirl101333 actually it's Richard O'Brian who sings the movie version and Patricia Quinn's lips :)

  • @kgirl101333 No retard, in the movie the lips are hers, the voice is O'Brien's.

  • @kimmois1 ugh no, I mean when she sings to Time Warp! I know in science fiction its O Brien.

  • STRAWBERRY TIME :D

  • I prefer her voice and wish the filmmakers had used her in some way rather than the detatched lips which were, well, kinda boring. The Usherette singing the song makes sense, the Lips are just reciting some lyrics.

  • awww I LOVE THIS VERSION!! I love Pat!! <3

  • I prefer this version to the film.

  • This sounds nothing like I thought it would. O.O

  • this is not at ALL how i thought she'd sound singing this.......O.o i like Riffy singing better, no offense to Pat of course, i mean she's an amazing singer but i was not that pleased with this...i really only liked the chorus if anything...:/

  • I thought it was Columbia singing....dayum

  • @chorvaqueen Its an easy mistake to make,in the movie patricia quinns voice is deep and strong and little nell has a squeeky voice....just goes to show quinns versatitlity

  • Wow that sounds like tweedy bird dosnt it

  • Are you sure this is Patricia Quinn? This sounds more like Little Neil singing.

  • @THERiffRandell it is Patricia!

I tougth it was Nell to at first to! I just say,WOW! this woman really know how to change her voice!

she is not playing Magenta when she is singing this tough.she plays a totaly different character called Usherette :)

  • @iiinicka I thoght it was Little Neil at first because her voice was soo high. I thought it would of been more deeper since Patricia's voice is kinda deep and scratchy. And I knew about the Usherette ;)

  • @THERiffRandell i agree, if you ask me it kind of sounds like she's singing in a range that she's not at all used to...

  • @XxMagentaMcKinleyxX I thought, since she has a sratchy voice, that it would be lower than this... but I guess since there's alot of high pitched notes in this song, it made her voice sound higher.

  • @THERiffRandell ikr? this is the complete opposite of wht i was expecting. i played it for my sister (without telling her it was Pat) and she thought it was Little Nell!

  • @XxMagentaMcKinleyxX Lol. Hey, I thought the same thing when I first listened to it. Oh, and by the way, nice profile!!! I absolutely love it!

  • @THERiffRandell thank you! (: i like your profile too! (:

  • @XxMagentaMcKinleyxX Its not as good as yours, though... urs is going on and on about RHPS while mine is just... BLAHHH!!!

  • @THERiffRandell haha well thnk u and no! urs is wonderful! don't down on yourself! lol! xD

  • @XxMagentaMcKinleyxX Whats so good about it? I'm just curious... because ever since I stopped using that stupid text lyngo, I've felt kinda emmbarassed about how I wrote the "About Me," part...

  • She looks just like Columbia

  • Though this version is awesome and quirky, I prefer Richard O'Brien's version for the movie. It really sets the dark/slightly morbid mood to the movie.

  • @TwilightSucks931 I agree on that one, Richard O'Brien's version fits perfectly with the movie. However, if I was going to see the play I'd rather hear this version! = )

  • I've always wanted to hear Harley Quinn sing this, FINALLY!

  • @xhunter94s You Mean Patricia Quinn ?

  • @MrsBethHudson Yeah Patrica is singing it but she sounds like Harley Quinn (Batman character).

  • @xhunter94s Aww :P xx

  • @xhunter94s

well her name is Patricia QUINN lol

  • @xhunter94s OMG It does sound Like HarleyQuincen.... XD

  • @xhunter94s I believe it's Little Nell x3

  • @preyofblood Actually Patricia Quinn, but it sound exactly like Harley Quinn!

  • I prefer this version for the show, it kinda sets a nice crazy vibe, but the picture show defiantly benefited from the more cinematic and deep voice of Richard, if this had of been the opening it just wouldn't have worked as well..

  • boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • It actually sounds like this could've been a Muppet Babies song by Miss Piggy. XD

  • Comment removed

  • Just seeing the picture move around for 3:35 is annoying. o_o Couldn't you have held it still?

  • She kinda sounds like Little Nell here and not so much like Magenta from the movie, but I like this version of the song. I prefer Richard's version though.

  • @itzieee Well, she's not playing Magenta during this song. She's the Usherette, a completely different character.

  • @thesoundofmusic1991 Well I meant she sounds different from the movie, I know she's not Magenta.

  • @itzieee I'm sorry, I just reread your original comment and I don't know what I was thinking when I posted that.

  • doesn't sound like her from the movie...

  • Is It Just Me Or Is That Pic Of Patricia Quinn A Bit Creepy?

  • Patricia is so cute in this song

  • i like the RHPS lips singing

  • @amira1295 in rocky horror picture show its her lips just richard O'brian singing {< riff raff ]

  • @WeR2Cool2HaveAName really? the lips from the rocky horror picture show seem right on tune with the person singing. and from these pictures it doesnt look like her lips

  • @amira1295 dude Patrica quinns lips Richard O' Brians voice

  • @WeR2Cool2HaveAName ahh, and she also played as magenta. im slow lol...really slow O.o

  • @amira1295 L0L N0 ur n0t i didnt know until i did a weeks reserch lol

  • STRAWBERRY TIME! ^_^

  • Pat sounds like sh!t lol

  • Wow.........This Sucks 0.0

  • Boy, they're getting a lot of mileage out of that still shot.

  • The more I listen to this the more I love it! I can't believe this is Patricia Quinn, ahe sounds so diferent as magenta in the movie

  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show needs to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

  • @9385C1 Exactly how I feel.

  • @9385C1 amen

  • 8 people are trying to pass runes

  • i love riff raff but patricia makes the song so jazzy and fun!

  • loved it!!!

  • I love her.I want to meet her.

  • Cyndi Lauper should cover this.

  • @JunkyardKid Yeah! haha

  • I wish there was footage of the this, the original

  • Is it me or does she sound a LOT like Little Nell?

  • @DorkoelFreako yeah it does.

  • @DorkoelFreako Yes, yes she does :)

  • It's weird - as Magenta in RHPS she sounds so sultry and mature, but here she just sounds adorable. I <3 Patricia Quinn.

  • @MmeLEnfer I <3 her, too! :D

  • Had never heard this version, although I knew she originally sang this song: didn't expect her to have sung it like this! Brilliant though. Funny how when she sings 'prunes' and 'runes' it is very much her 'own' voice, which sounds slightly odd compared to the rest

    Thanks for sharing these!

  • wow i never heard this version, this song always gave me the chills, very doo-wop influenced

  • @doowop76 I agree, and yeah gives me the chills - well all except the glee version, that's terrible.

  • This is adorable, but O'Briens voice just makes it.

  • omg her voice is completely weird it toallt messes up my thoughts on rocky horror !!,,still rlly good though

  • PAT <33

  • It's pretty difficult to mess up this song. It's so beautiful, it just translates no matter how different the singer is.

  • @NathanShearer I agree =)

  • I adore this version so much. The film version is good too, but this one seems so much more fun and inviting. I love it to bits and I think Pats voice is amazing in this. Its also more fun to sing along to than the movie version which is slower and not quite as camp. I <3 Patricia

  • The first time i heard this version i HATED it....now i cant stop listening to it! x

  • wow I don't like this version at all.

  • Is that also a picture of Elvis on her shirt? It looks like Elvis if you look at closely.

  • I thought Patricia sang fast in this version.

  • @brittanynicolefield1 Yes, she sang faster in this version. If you heard it from The Rocky Horror Tribe Show (also sang by Pat, but she kinda ruined it) or the movie, it's way slower. I love this version! It's the best!

  • This is my favorite version of the song I don't know why people would sing it any other way.

  • the movie version is way better

  • Found out on wiki shes the Aunt of snow patrols drummer :D

  • I prefer this to the one in the movie.

  • Forbidden Planet was a good movie.

  • Love Quinn's version! (i am 20 now...) I wish I was born 35 years earlier and went to the original 1973 show.

  • she sounds like toot from drawn together

  • @19pf19 Um.... You mean Betty Boop. Who Toot was obviously based on.
