@kneault It is a Weatherby Vanguard, It's has been a great gun but I am running into group problems on the range outside of 300 yrds. I am looking at changing brands for my new gun. I like Weatherby and I'd likely like a sub - M.O.A a whole lot more but there are other brands out there that out perform for less money. I'm leaning toward the Savage Model 10/110 Predator Hunter Max 1, with Accu Trigger and AccuStock still in .243

that there is a western heavy coyote shot here in Southern Alberta. They seem really dark because it is so white out. They are actually quite light coloured. Not the lightest we've shot mind you.

thats not a dog can't you tell by the bushy tail ,its probably an eastern coyote ,we have darker ones than they have in the west.

Super video! Its great to see a kid get his first double. To get it with your dad and to get it on video as well just makes it all the more special. That's what hunting is all about, spending quality time in the outdoors with friends and family. Congrats on the double. May there be many more.

Great job kid... was that yote coming in to attack that one doing the death spin? Quick kills are the best, but watching a yote spin 4-8 times is pretty dang awesome as well. Keep up the goad work and awesome shots!

@Copebro Paul, not really sure why the other yote came back. Usually we hit the wounded yote sound after we shoot one and any other coyotes will either stop or come back in. This one happened so fast. We actually had three coyotes right in the set and Aedan missed the third shot. But he did awesome. The shots were 222 yards, That's pretty good shooting for an 11 year old.
