@HardT0Survive Are you American? I know Americans find it hard to grasp British humour sometimes. The actors you mentioned are onlyl one type of comedy and appeal to one audience. There's a saying that what one culture finds funny, another finds baffling and another offending. I love Jo Brand!

@HardT0Survive Nah man, Jim carey and eddie griffin are about as funny as breaking your jaws against the door frame. Whereas Charlie is an imbibed cynical, who rambles about the so called faltering lifestle, thats what makes him hilarious along with catherine Tate and Franke Boyle

We all know the strung up, stressed out Dr, we all know the "near the knuckle nurse", that is why the portrayal is funny! At the end of the day however, I suppose you either "feel it" or you don't!
