This scene is actually fun to watch since you see them escape as it's occurring! The others just stood idle as it happened - just watching in horror. I thought a bridge collapse would be ridiculous and though it's probably the most graphic FD opening yet...they at least made it interesting.

How is it in every FD movie, the accident happens faster when the group escapes?

@neil8642 though I gave that comment a "thumbs up", it might actually be explained by the fact that the event is happening in real time. the individual deaths in the premonition make it seem a lot longer than it really is.

I LOVE this scene because it's different from all of the other Final Destination post-distasters: since this time, the accident is ocurring during their escape. So dramatic and full of action :3

There's something off with this..in Sam's vision of disaster, Molly lives. Which means she was meant to survive the disaster anyway. So why is she killed later on?

@OniFurdue perhaps because death already sets her real death in flight 180 at the end of the movie.

@OniFurdue Because that was another design. It wasn't the bridge design, it was the plane design wich Alex and the other characters from FD1 survived.

@OniFurdue actually, this is my own theory, since Molly lived in the vision, maybe she would have survived, but since Sam did not stay quiet and survived with all/most of the survivors, including Molly, this changed the fate of each of them, even Molly when she dies at the end

@OniFurdue I haven't seen this movie yet, but it could be like an instance in FD2 where if her time to die came later from something completely different and then she was saved...she'd be killed off later on because of that.
