@DemonDustMusic If it's just your picking try using just the pick-hand to smoothly economy pick each string (6,5,4,3,2,1 and back) without sliding the pick or missing a beat. When you can move that, try skipping strings in pattern. Then try playing melodies on just the open strings. If that doesn't get you a firmer hold on "finding" the strings and playing quick licks. Then maybe try the bass guitar. :P

pretty much if you want to sweep and learn quick, PRACTICE! and just make sure a few things that your sweeping with your arm not just your wrist and make sure your pick is angled right everytime, you wanna get the motion of sweeping down before you get your hands time together that comes last!

Yup. Good technique is ultimately what you need, but even some of the best players use this trick :)

always play them on the neck pick-up.and dont half ass them like i used to make sure your fingers fret every note so you can hear each one cleanly dont just move your fingers fast across the strings in the general shape. and only play it as fast as you can go still making each note clear then just build up speed. hope this helps. cheers
