First animal with a bow and it was a spot-and-stalk on a black bear in Alaska... lucky bastard. GREAT HUNT! Definitely won't forget that one.

That was excellent im a number of ways. To stock a black bear, close enough for a bow kill, and even after that excitement, to be calm enough for precision, is amazing! The hunting gods were in your corner. Great video. You must have practised walking on dry grass for a while before this happened, right? Correct me if I'm wrong, But the distance isn't really a big factor. If you've practised and are comfortable with a distance all is good. I'm impressed.

the bear broke a screen in the window, warning shot fired, bear continued to be agressive, husband gets wife to roof, wife was "sick" maybe drunk,husband goes to get bigger gun, meanwhile bear gets on roof,(close tree)chases women off roof , kills her and is EATING her when killed by rifle shot.Darcy was'nt a sissy either tough alaskan woman. I know it sounds crazy but BLACK bears will hunt people, This bear was a skinny (165lb)female

I'm of two minds on hunting. Meat hunters rule. Its great food,(no garbage bears)but we get some loser trophy hunters up here in AK, they give everybody a bad name. Now i don't mean all trophy hunters are losers, just the men and women with no respect.bears can be weird, a 165lb black bear killed and partitially ATE friend of mine. she was'nt hunting at the time , in fact the bear got her out of her cabin stalked her and killed her, RIP Darcey S.

im in oz mate so any animal i hunt is feral and introduced i can go after a trophy or hunt for meat any rabbit i get either i eat it or the dogs get it with goats i either go for a trophy or a eater depending on whats on offer.
