  • Yup, first Tan Sau was missing, you went straight for the Guan Sau, and couple other minor mistakes for what my Si-Hing would make noise about, but otherwise good job, you helped me to remember couple of parts ;) ...

  • To all the haters and bad intended commentators: This place( You Tube) in its origin was a site to share experienced memories and events. When someone exposes his/hers activities, their main purpose with rare exceptions, is to share any aspect of their life, to celebrated, to commemorate. I have almost 35 years in the Martial Artsand during that time I 've learned to recognize that any step or achievement counts. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything.

  • I have done wing chun for years and taught it. I am glad to see people come on here and show there journey. people forget what martial arts are about. we should support our fellow martial artist not tear them down. there are many different lineages meaning many different ways to do things. i thought this video is fine. if you lineage teaches different doesn't mean he is wrong just he does it a different way. don't let people get you down and keep the heart of the warrior.

  • good form. alot of people on you tube are alittle more sloppy lol! hope you do some more videos and do let bad comments on here get you down. i love wing chun

  • Thanks for your greetings. appreciate for that. I ve better things to do in life than to take childish judgement of bad comments, lol. I ve respect for the word of real warriors not for the ppl that just like to show up.

  • your technique is horrible have you ever used this nonsense in a real fight?

  • your style is weak and a form is not "just a form".

  • this guy obviously cannot fight in real life! hahaaha

  • look in this way.I respect the opinion tht anyone can have about this as long as they a have respectful way to express their self.I thanks for that and I learn if it s a quality information. You really can tell ' this is correct, this is incorrect ' and give me your why.At the end It s just about a form. Simple as that. But If you just have a childlike mind and try to sound cool to say that, I seriously recommend not to underestimate somebody just for a body movement. You can get a surprise

  • Wish that was my back garden!

  • well performed Siu Nim Tao. Looks a lot like Leung Ting lineage. But I really study a lot Siu Nim taos on youtube. From Hongkong, mainland Wing Chun branches and so on. I dont understand why so much people think they know the only truth. But you can say that these guys with such mindset understand not a little about Wing Chun. The form always reminds you on little ideas. Wing Chun internal and external is simple and pure. There is nothing wrong with this view. Just open your minds.

  • You forgot very many movmends!!!

  • incomplete Siu Nim Tao

  • Not sure if it's me, But you're hyper-exstending your arms at the start.

  • Wow! That's oldscool Leung Ting SNT form for me. thanx for posting. I started wing chun training in 2002 and with these techniques and form, applications worked well.

Nowadays I train in the Practical Wing Chun from Wan Kam Leung.*check the difference in angles of the SNT on youtube ;)

One tip though: keep your shoulder low when you perform the wu-sao backwards..

Wish you lots of fun in training at your Wing Chun school.

Kind kungfu regards from the Netherlands

  • I am really getting tired of all the martial arts "experts" telling others how to do it. Most of the time they think their way is the right way. The important thing is that you understand what you are doing and why! You have to know what you want to achieve with all you learn. So be critical , but don't talk about wrong or right so fast, because that shows you are a mindless follower...

  • He forgot to pay his respects at the end

  • different from the way I know it, but still interesting.

do you train wing chun in Norway?

  • even the very beginning when you do garn sao an when go into tan sao, you do it as chum kiu way!!! and the third section... has some other parts, who tought you that? :O

  • you need to press the ellbows together behind your back..

  • good, but some mistakes!

  • When you go from lower kang sau to upper kang sau.. You make a very nice spiral motion but when you do that , one pak sau and you arms are both locked up... I see a lot of Wing Chun video's about Siu Nim Tao but the are powerless and more stylised then usefull..

  • It seems very common nowadays to train Wing Chun, VingTsun etc. in a soft way. It should never be forgotten that your training is your preparation for self defence, and if you think that you will survive with soft movements you are mistaken.

  • Wing Tchun? it isn't Wing Chun or Ving/Vin Tsun ?

  • fuckin norway :( im jealous. looks liek a beautiful place to practice

  • looks robotic

  • @ForwardIntent

it just the basic form of wing chun which let you to practice and to get use to the motion

  • where is work bady that is bad and your end is max bad WT is no onli hand job

  • i can play it better then u

  • Maybe, but this is still one of the best examples on youtube of sil nim tao.

  • Maybe, but this is still one of the best examples on youtube of sil nim tao.

  • in form 4 is one part missing... the hitting up move with the back of your hands...

  • There are many different ways of practicing siu nim tao. You are missing out on alot of key parts in the form that are essential for your qi gong. FIngers especially and your bong is slightly off....not loose enough. I will attempt to put up a demo.

I have studied traditional ving tsu under the moy yat lineage. GOod work keep it going!

  • Nice me Pete Paijil (Moy Bagh Hugh) for a little while...

  • You missed the very end of part 4 ans you seem to have a tightened right shoulder...

  • Why the extra fist rings, no use i can think for them? and opponent shouldn't see your palm when going from offer to prayer.

  • stimmt, der erste Satz is falsch und beim vierten Satz vergisst er den Schluss...

  • Sein Stand ist falsch und er beginnt den ersten Satz nicht richtig.

  • Is the back ground real? Its bothering me so much I couldn't pay attention to the form

  • dont think so, clouds arent moving

  • lol, look one more time

  • look faster , cloud are moving... lol...

  • He starts if off wrong... Arms are crossed above first, and then crossed downwards again - then back up, and then fisted and placed by the ribs...

  • @joselimai

There is no "wrong", there is only "different"

  • @Tuxre there is wrong he locked his arms up when doing going from lower kang sau to uper kang sau he made a very stylized motion which made his arm crossed before his chest..it take time and have no function but to put your self in danger..One pak sau on his arms and one hit in the face...

  • @joselimai

No. You retard. Not in Yip Man or WSL lineage.

Don't comment on something that you don't know shit about.

  • @joselimai ip man did it the same way as he did in a video so i think he did it right

  • he looks like me

  • che lineaggio è ?? anche se siamo quasi tutti figli di leung ting ad ogni modo manca il doppio toi sao prima dei doppi pugni alla fine della parte doppia .... ciao

  • sorry, but this is a poor excuse for a sil lim tao. it lacks relaxation, it's too quick and i wonder whether this guy could stop a newbie in a proper lineage.

  • way too fast!!! try it for 20 min w a block in between ur knees

  • non so dove stavi ma fa molto wutang..vero?

    xD

    5/5 bravo

  • This is prob the best Sil Nim Tao I've seen on youtube, Fook Sao does'nt drop, Pak Sao extends to the shoulder, Tan and punches are dead center with elbows right in. Great stuff!

  • why no final upwards movement in the 4th set?

  • thank you for uploading the video, it helped a lot. is it EWTO wing tsun form?

  • wow, nice background.... where's this at

  • The place s name is Geiranger, in Norway. It s a very beautiful scenario.

  • @bushidodharma

    i love this place
