A damn cool song from a garage band who was a success story.  Paul Revere & the Raiders were another northwestern US garage band who hit success. A 1965 gem that was used in a 2004 SUV commercial. I just LOVE this song!

You gotta be joking about this band being that good. I saw them a number of times around Washington in the 1960s and they could not hold a candle to the best band in the Northwest, the Liverpool Five an English group that emigrated to the US . That band was far and away better than the Sonics, check out their newly released cd on Sundazed Records " Best of the Liverpool Five" and also a few of their sites on You Tube and you will know what I mean.
