so far I prefer Twin snakes over the PS1 version and over MGS4. The cutscenes in TT are over the top sure, but thats what make them awesome. MGS4, snake is too old too do over the top stuff :( But at least there is raiden.

Trust me,show em MGS1 of ps1 to someone today 2008,and you will make em hate the MGS.

The dubbing was fine in TT i dont see anything wrong in it.

Emotions? in mgs1 the whole face didnt even had expression! not even the mouth opens to speak.they had to headbang when they talk to see whos talking.

and MGS1 is not hard in a way you need skills,its just hard bcause it lacks a lot of feature that TT brings:for example you cant aim in first person mode.

the graphics aren't everything. There are many things to watch: dubbing, emotions, difficulty. TTS has ruined part of these things..I think the original is better. Yes, it has an old grapics but it has made millions of people dream, hasn't it? TTS is the "americanization" of the original..the "Hollywood version"..I think so

Ironically TTS is closer to the Japanese original in things like voice and such than the original MGS1. For instance Mei-Ling was raised in the United States, so she shouldn't have a foreign accent. I forget about Naomi Hunter. While the cutscenes were over the top, what mainly occured, and was said, in the cutscenes was closer to the Japanese original.

If what you say is true, MGS 1 is not a game but the greatest human creation, I don't think it's possible to get more emotion than I had when I played TTS

@DevilFox92 i do agree with devilfox on this one, i do love the original for its music emotion cutscenes and well classic graphics, but i suppose tts's was betr on controls and ai experience since it came out after mgs 2 hit... i've played an loved both games...and personally i think they should do a remake of mixing both of em XD but like that'll ever happen, i do enjoy some of the tts cutscenes lil more then the originals like the first 2 gray fox scenes, the 3rd over did it, but both are good

@rskid777 but i would say mgs1 jus for the classic originalness, the way the story was supposed to be experienced, instead of the remake...i did feel some emotional loss in the story, and it didnt effect me ass much, execpt the ai an gunplay, but it wasnt much different from mgs1

It is the same game people. Twin snakes is the remake of the legendary MGS1 with better graphic and stuff. MGS 1 has sentimental value but MGS TS has better quality.

This is exceptionally good. I especially liked the way you blended in the scenes where Meryl gets shot and the final showdown between Snake and Wolf, that was the highlight of this magnificent video. 10/5 stars

Hmm...Linkin Park is an ok band for some metal gear solid scenes-though I think this song would be perfect for Snake Eater than Metal Gear Solid though mainly my own preference. Anyhow for Snake I would either choose Disturbed or Metalica.

But man, I've never played Twin Snakes (only the ps1 version) but I didn't know they made snake do flips and shit like that =O Those were some tight moves he was doing in those scenes. Great picks. ;) And yes, the graphics in this version are awesome. Makes me wish they'd update the ps1 version. Kinda sad that the PlayStation people are left out since Twin Snakes is exclusive to Gamecube.

Yes, TTS is the Remake of the first mgs on ps1 but it's for Nintendo Gamecube, with other terrible cutscenes...not for ps2. However, if you'd like to see a remake on PS3 look my comment in the video "Never forget Shadow Moses" where you can find a link for a petition (if you are interested obviously :D )
