i dont now if it helps in a real player combat that much to aim for the legs i just usualy aim for the biggest weapons hes got so when their out i go for the kill
About the possible configurations you could make for a thanatos.i would mention it is my favorite mech. Now about the configurations, i have been staying for hours trying to figure out a optimal config for the thanatos and i can't seem to settle for anything in particular. The heavy gauss+arrow thunderbolt max ferro fibrous armour seems to do the max amount of dmg while still maintaining 75mph max ferro fibrous armor and 4 tons of ammo. But i am open minded, so pls pose some more thanatos configs
for a novice in the mechwarrior world your pretty good. dont let others critize you on going for the legs first, do whatever it takes to bring you opponent down. quick clean kills are better then wasting ammo. one thing i will note though, dont always go stock. if i were youm, id strip the stock weapon, amx out your armor and build up from there, i use a pair of c lbx10's, 2 c flamers, c lrm 15's and 2 c ultra ac2's [c meanign clan[ max armor and a few heat sinks. try it out,
i liked it but i felt you riped off by going for the legs and taking the quickest route to victory, now i understand thats a good idea in real battle but also in real fights they tend not to have time to blow the legs off they just try to blow them up, also i am impressed that you can use torso twist in 1st person veiw while i am great with battle mech combat sept i tend to need 3rd with torso twist
