1.Downgrade iPod touch to v.2.1 using method in video.

2.From v.2.1, downgrade to 1.1.2

3.From v.1.1.2, downgrade to 1.1.1

4.Jailbreak your ipod

If you ever get an error box then just clik ok and then plug in your iPod angain and then prss restore WITHOUT HOLDING SHIFT and it will bring you to your regular settings and just follow the on screen directions and press continue when there is a button that says continue!!!!

you CAN jailbreak 2.1 now. but the installer/cydia programmes are still in beta version. so it does not have much apps atm. So its better to downgrade to 2.0.2 and jailbreak so u get more apps.

i don't know what i did..but i got it working...i redid the jailbreak for 2.1 using quickpwn on my iphone 3g and it just worked fine.. after millions of time trying to downgrade that did not seem to work..i upgraded my phone back to the original 2.1 firmware..and then jailbreak it with quickpwn again..and everything works fine..

If you are using itunes 8 you must uninstall this and downgrade to 7.7 or 7.5 for the downgrade to work. Be sure to delete the itunes library or the new install will not go through. Hope this helps, im learning too!
