  • i used to play hammerin harry on the arcades!!!! :)))))

  • The screen is very small, though. I ran into this important problem when I bought several modern gameboy games and a gameboy advance (I also ran into a cordless, batteries-required problem). I bought Metroid Fusion, for which I had high hopes, but although it was nice, it didn't compare to games played on a large screen. I played it through once and I don't want to play it through again.

  • lol, this is the first time i've seen this show and i gotta admit that you made this game lookin a whole lot better coz of your comments and stuff .

  • I don't know if you take requests...

but can you maybe review Blaster Master Boy/Jr. ?

It's one of my favorite Gameboy games, and there are really few people that have reviewed it. Anyways, whatever you review next is OK to me :)

  • I expected this title for Nintendo DS too

Gen-san is like Goemon, a game with many japanese stereotypes but is fun

  • Another awesome review, and I hope you come back and do some more reviews, as not many people really cover hand held stuff, and you are def awesome at it! Another great video!

  • Congrats to your 2 years here.

The game looks really nice. It reminds me quite a bit of Mega Man Legends. Though that was more 3D. But since you did mention 'MM'.

  • Grate episode man. I hope you get the chance to make videos on a more regular basis soon.

  • lol, I make them pretty regularly. In between episodes I make the Podcast that Derek and I do. so I stay pretty busy. :)

  • Sorry, looking back you have been making stuff pretty regularly but it just felt like it have been like 3 months since that last VGT. Do you have links fo your podcast posted somewhere?

  • Yeah just check out the link in the side bar or go to RetrowareTV. It's called The Ben and Derek Totally Random Show. :)

  • Just saw it in the side bare on the Retroware TV. Thanks.

  • No problem, Thanks for watching / listening.

  • happy 2 years dude :D

  • Great review and Congrats!

  • Sad thing about Atlus games is that they tend to become rare fast. And with cheapskates such at myself who grid there teeth at $29.99. It's tough to go with that for a short game.

Fate/Unlimited Codes is coming out next week for the PSP (as a download only game) for the same price, which again, isn't really a price I would want to pay for it. Especially for a game that you need to know a lot of back story (some which the anime doesn't even offer).

  • Actually, Hammerin' Hero is $already 20 new at GameStop.

  • Keep up the good work man. I love retro games and I enjoy watching your video clips. I love AVGN too but yours are just as good!!

  • Great video for a great game! I've really grown to like the PSP. While my home consoles are starting to have way too many games in the same genres, the PSP's library has become quite diverse. DS too.

  • I own the rare european release of the NES Hammerin' Harry game and love it. looks like I have a reason to buy a PSP. Thanks Ben!

  • Happy 2nd Anniversary!

  • congrats for the 2 years

  • happy 2 years!

  • I LOVVE 2.5D

and according to my math............i love this game =3

  • Wow, I'm not a huge fan of (new-gen) handheld games, but THIS makes me wanna get a PSP, lol.

Also, congratulations for the 2 Years anniversary. ^^

  • I saw this at the store the other day, I might actually get it now lol.

  • This looks like a great game! Thanks for the review and here's to another great year.

  • Congrats on the two-year annyversary stuff, Ben! I'm Kolbe, if you were wondering : P

  • in the space level the space ship that you help is a decepticon lol

  • Here's to many more years of VGTO!

  • I must get this now

  • I'll sell you my psp
