That's probably mostly just what they look like. There isn't much lighting, so of course, there will be minimal shine.  Or maybe they're made with a traditional finish rather than brilliant. Or I know that Sabian makes some AAX Dry cymbals that are just unlathed, but these don't look that much like them

Good drumming man! You really should loosen your crash cymbals though. When you have them tight they dont reach their resonant frequency and dont sound as good
