@AwesomeRants Truth be told he's really not worth the time to make a whole video on. He's been looking to start trouble with me for the last month now and I'm not going to fuel the "Serious Internet Business" crap and respond to him. At the very least I'll address my fans telling them that I'm not too concerned about what he's saying about me.
That reminds me of the incident in 2006 where close to where I live. Edmonton Oilers fans were rioting the streets in Edmonton. I remember hearing about it on the news.
It would be like if all the Metroid fans burned down all of The Nintendo Company when Metroid: Other M came out. Glad I live in Longmont, CO, where nothing important happens as far as entertainment goes.
I live in Vancouver but please don't let this riot represent the Canucks! The people involved were not real fans but complete lunatics. Me, my friends, my family would never do anything like this as this is a complete embarrassment to Vancouver. Real fans never riot!!!!!!
I live near Vancouver, and I'm disgusted at what happened. BUT most of it had nothing to do with hockey. Most of the riot starters had gone to the game with backpacks of fireworks and propellant. They wanted to start a riot, REGARDLESS of who won.
I like this video. I enjoy how you keep your rather monotone style, but you do use more emotion that you usual use. Regarding the events that took place in Vancouver, I just cannot wrap my head around the thought process that went into the riots. I mean, I enjoy hockey and when my favorite team lost, I wasn't happy about it, but I never even THINK about rioting in response. I just don't understand it, seriously.
I would also like to add to that hockey is a way of life up here and I really hate that about this city. People do go too crazy for it up here. I'm not a Canucks fan, and because of it the last 2 months have not been fun. I've been called things like communist, and trator, some of those by my own father. I wish it could be different but it never will be.
Look, I was there and I saw what happened, and living in this city I can tell you that this was all mostly done by anarchists movements and people who were drinking since early that morning. The anarchists were also the same people who tried to do this during the Olympics. The benefit of this is that now people were caught on camera, and we might actually be able to put away a lot of those anarchists that have been a plegue on this city for too long.
I knew this was going to happen, but I think the saddest thing is that people are actually believing that this represents all Canadians - seriously? I guess the internet brings out the stupid in people just because it's not like anyone's gonna track them down for what they've said or anything.
I have a quick question that is vaughly related...I moved out of the U.S. for a while, and I come back after only six months to discover hocky has suddenly gotten super popular. My city does not even have a damn team. Why is hocky suddenly so popular, but people still ignore soccer damn it.
It was a good game. All those guys are sore losers that literally live in and with hokey and nothing else. Don't get me wrong, I love hokey, but it's not my life.
@TheCanadianPrairies Calling someone a troll for saying anything that you don't agree with shows how simple minded you are. You need to loop everything negative into one group in order to cope with the idea of anything that can make you feel upset.
Canada, really hasn't done anything quite spectacular in recent decades. So saying that all they had to be proud of was Hockey was meant to be a both a joke, and actuality. And this is evident from their reaction of the citizens to this game.
Dream on, buddy. We all know you're just here to troll for views with stupid comments like that. Go back to making cheap Xtranormal videos or something.
@TheCanadianPrairies Calling me a troll is just an excuse for you not to refute any of my points, because clearly, you cannot.
And if you really believed I was a troll, you wouldn't have taken time to even type out three sentences, and would have just ignored me.
It's either you're too incompetent, or just intellectually lazy. Inb4 getting a life, you make videos on youtube, so clearly you lack one and would be a hypocrite for telling me to get one.
Anyone can refute your "points" with relative ease. Terry Fox's work, the discovery of insulin, peacekeeping, etc are all defining moments, achievements, in Canadian history and they shows throughout the world today. What happened in Vancouver does not represent an entire nation. But I know you are a troll, so I figured it'd be good to call you out on it in the hopes people wouldn't fall for it. Don't bother writing another comment. I don't need to deal with you any further.
@TheCanadianPrairies Discovery of insulin-1922. I said in recent decades. Your attempt to refute my point is invalid.
Since you bothered to reply at all you cannot use intellectual laziness as an excuse now, clearly you're simply incompetent. There is no need for you to reply at all, this argument is over. You've lost.
@TheCanadianPrairies Also, I find that my accusation of you just calling me a troll to cope with this situation solidifies when your username is "TheCanadianPrairies". Obviously making you Canadian.
@InquistiveJoe Now that we have the Missouri Mavericks, I wouldn't be surprised if an angry mob came after me with pitchforks for making fun of hockey.
For god sakes. What is up with people taking sports so seriously? It's just a game. It's not a way of life. And this is another reason why I dislike sports. Because nowadays you can't support a team without getting fatally injured or killed. Here in the UK it's the same situation when it comes to soccer. Can't support any team without any team without getting hurt.
I'm not much of a sports jockey, and I rarely follow any beyond occasional tidbits I heard. One of the reasons I don't follow sports is fanboyism and poor sportsmanship polluting the medias. Not all people are like this, I know, but there is too much for me to really get involved as a casual follower.
oh yeah, and sorry wasn't try to advertise about my first post, just trying to say that this guy who lives in vancouver recorded a 15 minute video of the rioting, IT IS CRAZY! He also has videos of when they won.
IQJ - What do you think of undertakerfreak1127's recent video about you? Isn't he such a wonderful, savory, amazing person?
