  • My very first car! I was 17, in the summer of 1964, when my dad helped me buy a 4-door Bel Air from an older woman, for $600, and my senior year at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, California was made so extra special! We cruised "The Springs" for endless nights (Terry, Phil, John, Tom, Eldee, Dennis and the rest of the guys from SFH). Drove it until I was drafted (Vietnam) in February of 1969. Turned out to be the best car I ever owned.
