Actually, that was a pretty slow night at the lights a month+ past the high season. It's gets so much better down there and hopefully I'll have something more to show next month!

California has a lot of interesting bugs in the South. I'd rank it as State #4 or 5 in my list of favorite US destinations.

Amazing that an African transplant would end up in a sky island. I once found a little glow-worm in the Chiricahuas, crawling in the leaf litter.
