Yes, plants emit oxygen, but the production of carbon dioxide due to the raising of animals to be slaughtered far outweighs the amount of oxygen emitted by plants
When we are raising & slaughtering animals by the billions each year, the carbon dioxide given off by those creatures is tremendous.
If we stopped breeding animals for consumption, carbon dioxide levels would decrease
