Did he really defy mosaic law? He said (Matt 5:17-19, ESV):
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
He fulfilled the sacrificial law, moral law remains. Jesus is an accepting entity for all humans, but once he forgave people (eg. the woman in adultery) he told them to (John 8:11, ESV) "go, and sin no more".
In conclusion, you really don't know what Jesus said at all.
